This is how I do it (playing with pad for the moment):
1. Have my thumb on the side that's forward on the down-button, so I only have to tilt my thumb to get a 236.
2. After 236, I release the D-Pad and press 3, which produces a second NS (DNS). So the command I use is something like...
Haven't touched him yet and not sure about the commands, but I know one UB he has is something like 4[A], GB(214B?). Gives EIN a guaranteed hit and leads into combo.
Maybe to early to tell, but do you think Viola is viable tournament-wise? Don't need her to be top/high or anything like that, but not siggycrappy either.
I'm also curious about Maxi. I've tried him like once in SC1, and is probably the character I have the least knowledge about.
Could you give out some basic moves just some basic safe/good moves to try out and so that I can compare him to other characters and get a feel of how he is played...
Does Pyrrha have any good safe options for starting a wallcombo when the opponent is against the wall? I use 3A+B for RO, but it doesn't work with walls.
I would say probably top but not broken. She's really good, only thing missing is a safe, fast damaging mid (not counting 66B which is 23f), like Pats 1B or similar. Otherwise, great pokes, step, punishment (both wiff, step and against unsafe), lows, stepkillers, ok throws (excellent...
What makes 4B so good? It's very damaging on hit and +-0 frames on block, but then it's a 26f high. I haven't been able to get the game yet, so I might be missing something...
Tja där :) så snart någon generös och givmild individ skänker mig ett PS3 ;) Fast flask, du råkar inte vara skåning eller hur? Tror det endast är jag som äger SC4 i hela Skåne. Letar dock fortfarande efter folk som vill lira.
8wr A+B - When your'e at a distance against Amy, be careful with high, as 8wr A+B have Tech Crouch-properties. I think it might be steppable, haven't fought an Amy in ages so don't take my word for it :|
6BB - Not much you can do. It's high, so you can duck it. So on anticipating it, you could...
Question about Voldo players andwhat they'd pr
1. Yes. He's never been this fun to play before.
2. Yes. I wouldn't play him if he were below mid-tier.
3. Mid-tier yes, but not below.
I think low-tier characters are harder to win with, but not harder to master (with that I mean using the character to it's fullest potential, or as close as you can come. But then, I guess it's all about definition of words...).
I do share your theory regarding Cerv though :) I think you can...
When I'm in normal stance, I usually try to get a KD, and from there transition into BT. Like, 1[K], BT 2B+K, K. Now you would have a big advantage, as well as in BT.
I know many people like normal stance for oki more than BT, but I think they are both equally good. Front is, in my...
I think it's hard to say which one is the hardest to master (personally, I think Cervantes is the character that's hardest to master). They are quite different.
Setsuka: Almost all of her B&B is JF. 33B-combos (both CH and NH), 214B+G, punish on block requires good umbrella-execution...
Plume
Isn't it just two JFs in that combo?
But I agree, about everything with Setsuka requires somewhat strict timing and execution (although I don't think the lack of auto-GI-from-attack is a decider of how hard Setsuka is to use/master).
33B: You must be able to react if it's CH/NH...

Yeah I agree with this, it basically depends on distance, stance and FC/standing. But to keep it simple, best thing (in my opinion) is standing (instead of FC) after KD and being as close as possible.
