I just read that guard impact will parry throws. Does anyone know if astaroth’s throws aren’t affected like in soul calibur 3?

Haven't been to this webpage in what looks like 6 years, but now that Astaroth is back I'M BACK! So haven't followed SCVI too much, but the trailer looks pretty alright. Anything about the new game system so far that would make him better or worse because of his gameplay style?

I haven't been able to test play human opponents in a while, but from what I read the regular will hit as a counter hit I think. I think the BE will only combo if you land the ground grab relatively close. Evidently the ground grab doesn't just put you at the same distance no matter what.

I'll only use it for 1. the kill 2. ring position (but only if I feel it is really worth it) In general I agree. Meter is pretty fun to have with Asta. (especially now with the CE buff)

I didn't look for anything in particular. I just remember it being done pretty often in SCIV and I'm not sure if I've seen or heard of anyone doing it at all in SCV. Crouch Throw is like 13 frames right? That should grab most lows on block. I guess I just don't know which end in ducking.

I remember it being pretty common in SC4 but haven't tested recently, but can you punish most lows with crouch throws in this game or are there just better options?

1aa Nerf... Who know... If anything it does kind of do a lot for what is usually a guaranteed hit. I'm mostly looking forward to the free 10 dmg after the 22B BE with more 66B clean hits. B command grab does about 110 with 66b clean hit and 22B BE.

Is this for real? If so, I would consider it an overall buff. A command grab doing 75 dmg makes it nearly as scary as the b throw. I can live with those changes. A few neglible dmg nerfs and a lot of useful dmg buffs. What exactly does the 66k be buff mean?

Is anyone worried/curious/excited about the balance patch? There shouldn't be any reason to nerf Asta right? ....right? I hope they give him jf dmg on his a command grab. I can see them maybe toning down his wall damage.... We shall see.
