If u actually came out to the international tournament, you would have seen how well a TECHNICAL character could do... LP had a GREAT CHANCE at NEC to at least place top 3.... (Shrugs)Ask DreamKiller and Woahzz, if you don't believe me.

Traces execution is a thousand times better than anything LP is capable of. Just sayin.

Still whats the excuse for LP not getting third? If its his usual nerves, than you just proved the point of Trace. So im not sure what you try to say. Technical Characters are harder to play in tournaments since messing up stuff due to nerves is more likely. Statement is 100% true. LP is the best evidence for this if we believe his usual excuses :P

My point for the post is that TECHNICAL CHARACTERS can do good, depending on the player using them.

Sure, Trace kicked out Malek in Cannes 2010, so he knows too i guess :) Maxou got 2nd with Setsuka also. But in general technical Chars will suffer more from pressure situations than Chars with easy inputs. Doesnt matter if its me, LP or Trace or Maxou. Nobody managed to play a technical char 100% perfect in tournaments yet...this is stuff which happens more likely to Chars like Setsuka.

Lols...just like Setsuka I suppose. I dont pay heed to the stat chart, but boy, everything save for ease of use is damn high.

Oh please guys don´t fight! of course a technical character can do it good in a tournament, I agree with Tokyoli in that aspect, but is very dificult to give the 100% of the character when you are under preasure, that´s also true.

Thanks Doc for defend me! you´re so lovely! ♥ I don´t want to disapoint you, but I´m going to be honest, my execution is good, yes, but I´m also playing all the time with the same person and I know him very well, that´s why my fights against Alex_3D seem so flashy, but when I first went to an international tournament I just get bloqued! I couldn´t do anything in the country or the team tourney, if you see videos of that you will say "Trace sucks" automaticly xD and that was just because of the nervious! I was invaded by them, nervious can damage A LOT a technical character... of course this would not have hapened if my main was Amy...

Anyway, that upgraded so much my level in a very short period of time, so I did it good in solo.

I´m writing too much I think xD I just want to say that the tier of such a technical character like Sets or A.Pat or wathever can change a lot depending of the player mental status and his/her previous experience. Of course that affect all the characters, but it play a crucial role in order to win a fight specially with technical characters.

Is just my opinion! I´m sorry for puting all this shit in this thread and hope you get my idea, I can´t express myself very well in english xDD

He almost reminds me of Vergil from DMC3. It would've been better for this style to be given to different character instead of Pat, but the decision was already made so whatever... I've never gotten into Setsuka in SCIV, but I'll give this a chance. I might main it if I like it enough.
