Aeon014's Original CaS Characters

Hello there everyone. I am Aeon014 and I decided that it was time to create a gallery for all of the characters I've created in the past couple weeks. If you've been following the Originality topic recently then you've probably seen most of my characters. However I will probably also upload a few characters here that I haven't posted anywhere else.

For now I'll start by uploading the three main characters for my story that I contemplating on writing.

Name: Leon Ortega
Age: 19
Birth Date: January 19, 1731
Family: Aaron Ortega (Father), Alice Ortega (Mother)

Bio: Born and raised in the country of Lorran. Leon has always dreamed of following his parents footsteps of becoming one of the Royal Knights of Arterias. He joined the Lorran army at the young age of 18 and was put under the command of his father Aaron.

During the war against the Great Bandit King Jeremiah and the Bandit Country of Aldren that took place in the year 1743 Leon had heard first hand of the amazing feats his parents preformed during the war and thus made an ambition to become like them.

Leon is a very calm yet bright and helpful person. He is always making an effort to help those around him should they need it. His best friends consist of Kouji Naraka and Juri Aoyama who he has known since he was five. The weapon he prefers to use in battle is a longsword.

Likes: Cooking, training with his parents and friends, reading, and watching the clouds with his friends.

Dislikes: Scorpions, bitter foods, getting pranked by his friends Kouji and Juri, his unwanted nickname Leo.

Name: Kouji Naraka
Age: 20
Birth Date: October 13, 1730
Family: Hideki Naraka (Father), Yumi Naraka (Mother), Tomoko Naraka (Younger Sister)

Bio: He was born in the far eastern country of Nippon. Kouji and his family moved to Lorran when he was barely three years old.

At the age of six he was caught up in a one-sided fight against a bunch of bullies who he angered earlier that day due to a prank he pulled on them for picking on a girl. Out of nowhere a boy who was a year younger than him jumped in to help and by doing this caught the bullies off guard and made them run off. After they left the boy introduced himself as Leon Ortega.

After that day they became fast friends and the next day they ran into the girl who Kouji helped. Her name was Juri Aoyama who was two years younger than him and a year younger than Leon. She thanked Kouji for helping her but she then chastised him for doing it saying that she didn't need his help. The two soon got into and argument that was broken by Leon. After he had calmed them down Leon suggested that they hang out and at the end of the day an unbreakable bond was formed between the three and they became best friends.

Kouji's personality can be described as laid back, brash and cocky. He's not afraid to jump head first into battle, however this sometimes lands him in some bad and/or humorous situations. He was trained in his family's secret style of Kenjutsu and plans to take over eventually as the head of his clan.

Likes: Sweet foods, training, fighting, going on dates with his girlfriend Juri, and annoying Leon.

Dislikes: Spicy Foods, getting into arguments with those he is close to, guys who try to make a move on Juri and ghosts.

Name: Juri Aoyama
Age: 18
Birth Date: May 1, 1732
Famils: Tetsuo Aoyama (Father), Sarah Aoyama (Mother)

Bio: Juri was born in Lorran to her mother Sarah Aoyama and her father Tetsuo Aoyama. Her father moved to Lorran from Nippon when he was young and fell in love with his wife several years later.

When she was four years old she wound up getting picked on by a bunch of bullies who took her favorite headband. She was rescued by a boy who was a couple years older then her who poured a bucket of water on the leader of the bullies head. The boy then told her to run away. She did as she was told but not before grabbing her headband.

The next day she went searching for the boy how had saved her and in the afternoon she found him along with another boy. They introduced themselves as Kouji Naraka and Leon Ortega respectively. From that day on they became best friends.

As the years went by she and Kouji became naturally attracted to each other but neither of them made a move. They didn't officially become a couple until one day when they got into a heated argument after a sparring match. Leon who often acted as mediator between the two tried to calm them down but it was all for naught. When they weren't looking however Leon with a small smirk pushed Kouji into Juri which made their lips collide together into a kiss.

Stunned she and Kouji stood there, lips locked together until they came to their senses a few seconds later and broke away from each other, both of them blushing red. They turned to Leon who had a large grin on his face and said "It was an accident" before taking off like the wind. Juri was about chase after him before Kouji swept her up in another kiss and said "We can get him back later. Let's just stay here together for now". Juri simply nodded her head in agreement.

Juri is a spunky and hot headed girl who isn't afraid to speak her mind. However she is a bit of a sore loser, especially when it comes to sparring with her friends. Her preferred weapon of choice is a Jian.

Likes: Spicy foods, taking hot baths, hanging out with her friends and boyfriend, training, looking her best, helping her mother with the gardening.

Dislikes: Reptiles of any kind, losing, when people mess with her headband, getting hit on by other guys, being underestimated.

Well there they are. Leon, Kouji and Juri. Three best friends bound together by destiny. Expect more characters and their bios to be uploaded at a later time. And please share your opinions on them.

I like Ortega the most for his dragoon look. Are you going to write out the full story? I really want to know what happens to this trio. Kinda hopin' Kouji dies and Juri runs to Ortega. Or Ortega hooks up with a malfested babe.

I seriously am thinking about it. If you read my profile, it lists writing as one of my hobbies but I kind of lost interest due to not being able to find the time to do it. But after hanging out here on this site for a while it's sort of renewed the spark for writing that I used to have. As for the story itself I don't want to give too much away but Kouji and Juri will most likely stay together in the end.

Even if I did kill Kouji off I wouldn't hook Leon up with Juri for a number reasons. First of all Leon's a nice guy at heart and wouldn't go after his best friend's girl and second is that Leon has always seen Juri as a little sister. But I do have an ideal candidate for Leon.

Another thing is that this story is almost completely AU from the SC Series. It's comprised completely of original characters and the only things in here that still makes it a Soul Calibur story are the blades and even they are a bit different in this story, namely was how they were created.

Alright everyone here are two more characters that I got to show you guys. Both of them I've already uploaded but never had a bio for them until now.

Name: Aaron Ortega
Age: 44
Birth Date: February 22, 1706
Family: Alice Ortega (Wife), Leon Ortega (Son)

Bio: Aaron Ortega was indicted into the Royal Knights of Arterias at the age of 21 due to his bravery in fending off a group of raiders that attacked the royal escort for King Malco Arterias II by himself, after the rest of the knights were killed. After he was inducted into the royal knights he was put in charge of a battalion of soldiers, one would become his future wife.

During the Great Bandit War he and is wife served under Head Knight Marisa Legalis. Together, along with their fellow knights they followed Marisa during the final assault on Jeremiah's fortress and witnessed the final battle between Marisa and Jeremiah.

Aaron is a very serious man when it comes to his fellow soldiers. Many describe him as a hard yet fair commander who always manages to bring out the best in his fellow soldiers. Around his wife and son he typically loses the sharp serious edge to his look yet he still manages to look the part of a proud soldier. When training with his soldiers he never holds back and no one gets an exception to this rule, not even his son. His weapon of choice is a Zweihander.

Likes: Going to the bar for the occasional drink with old friends, surprising his wife with romantic dates, training with his family, working, telling stories of previous battles with his men.

Dislikes: Snakes, having his wife get mad at him, bandits, having training sessions with his soldiers interrupted with out good reason, the Winter Season.

Name: Alice Caterina Ortega
Age: 41
Birth Date: April 9, 1709
Family: Aaron Ortega (Husband), Leon Ortega (Son)

Bio: Alice Ortega, born as Alice Caterina, was an orphan who never knew her parents were. Abandoned as baby and placed at the doorsteps of the local orphanage in the Lorran Capital City, Alice would grow up with out ever knowing what it was like to have the love of a family.

At the age of sixteen she was forced out of the orphanage due to the laws that, if a child should remain at the orphanage until sixteen the caretaker must force them out even if it pains the caretaker to do so.

After she was forced out, Alice stayed on the streets Lorran for the next two years living off scraps and occasionally stealing from restaurants and food stands. One night she was caught stealing and the owner had some of the more "questionable" guards attack her for stealing.

They took her to a nearby ally and started beating and kicking her calling her many names. Thinking it the end for her, Alice with fire burning in her eyes caught one of the incoming attacks from the guards before delivering a swift punch to his groin, causing him to double over in pain.

The other guards were stunned as to how a common street rat could take one of them down. Using this to her advantage Alice quickly took down three more guards, one by delivering a punch to his stomach, one by a sweep kick followed by a drop kick, and the final one with a knee to the face.

The owner of the food stand, who Alice tried to steal from, fuming mad ordered the rest of the guards to kill her. However, before they could even make a move they were interrupted when they heard someone shout "Enough of this shameless display!".

Everyone turned their heads towards the voice and were shocked at who they saw standing at the entrance to the alley, Head Knight Marisa Legalis along with her fellow Royal Knights Marcus Lombardi and Aaron Ortega. Marisa peered over the display before her with a look of disgust on her face before asking, "What in the hell is going on here?"

The owner, with smile on his face, stepped forward and started to explain what happened however once he said that he had the guards attack Alice, Marisa took her shield and delivered a swift blow to his face, knocking him out instantly.

Marisa spat on the food stand owner's unconscious form before ordering Marcus to take him away. She then ordered Aaron to arrest the guards and take them to jail so they could await trial.

As Aaron did this he and Alice shared a quick glance and he shot her a smile of approval causing Alice to blush slightly. After Aaron and Marcus left, Marisa and Alice stood alone in the alley staring at each other intently. After a few minutes Marisa started clapping her hands.

"That was an impressive display you've shown." She said a small smile. "We could use more soldiers with a fiery spirit like yours. How would you like to join the Lorran army?" That question changed Alice's future forever.

After joining the army at the age of nineteen Alice was put into a battalion of soldiers under the command of Royal Knight Aaron Ortega. During the course of five years Alice and Aaron constantly butted heads with each other in a friendly manner. One night however they had a chance meeting under the starry sky and shared their life stories with each other.

After they were done they glance at each other and without saying a word they leaned forward until their lips touched.

A year later they got married and were happier than ever. Then on May 14, 1730 Alice found out she was pregnant. Needless to say she and Aaron were overjoyed at the prospect of having a child and on January 19, 1731, Alice gave birth to a healthy baby boy that was later named Leon. And for the first time in years Alice cried tears of joy.

She finally discovered what it was like to have a family.

At the beginning of the Great Bandit War she was indicted into the Royal Knights of Arterias for rescuing a battalion who were pinned down in the battle for city of Anderen one of the largest of cities in Lorran. After the war was over she retired saying that it was has grown tired of fighting and that she wanted to spend time with her son.

Due to her childhood and her time in the army Alice has become a very serious woman who takes slack from no one. However when around her family and close friends she becomes softer and acts more like mother and wife rather than a knight. Despite being a retired Knight she still trains everyday, should she ever heed the call of battle again.

Her weapon of choice is a lance.

Likes: Spending time with her son and husband, training, cooking, going on dates with her husband, watching the starry skies with her husband.

Dislikes: Insults sent to her, her family, or her friends, her husband forgetting their dates (happens rarely), people who are stuck-up, spiders.

Well... that took longer to write than I thought it would. Anyway share your opinions on my characters and the stories and let me know if I did a good job on them.

Great stories and CaS's! I feel bad for the shop owner though. Having your shit stolen sucks.

True I know how that feels. But considering Alice's lifestyle at the time and the fact that no one was willing to hire her for any sort of job, her last option of survival was stealing. And besides stealing food from a grocery stand wouldn't normally warrant for someone to be beaten to death.

The shop owner was also a typical greedy bastard who thinks he can get away with things just by paying off the guards. However due to the fact that the Knights of Lorran look down on this sort it was only a matter of time before he gets arrested anyway.

I'm loving Leon... which is odd because I rarely like such armored characters. o.o

Thanks. Leon's a personal favorite of mine but that's due to him being the main character for my story that I'm working on. I do have others that I think I did a good job on and can't wait to upload them.

Hey there everyone! Sorry for not updating this in quite a while but I'm back with two more characters.

Name: Bandit King Jeremiah
Age: Unknown (Currently deceased)
Birth Date: Unknown

Bio: Jeremiah was the ruler of Aldren, a country that resided to the northwest from Lorran. Aldren was a country that was filled with nothing but bandits, vagrants and other types of criminals. Growing up in such a harsh environment had made Jeremiah into a rough and cruel man. He joined under Aldren's "military" during his mid-teen years and quickly climbed through the ranks as a powerful and ruthless soldier.

Eventually he would challenge the former Bandit King to a duel to the death, claiming that it was time for someone else to take the throne. The Bandit King laughed at such an idea and ordered his guards to kill him.

Needless to say they didn't stand a chance...

After Jeremiah killed the guards he started advancing towards the King. The King and anger drew turned to draw his weapon but the second he was prepared for battle it was already to late.

In nothing but a mere second the Bandit King's head was separated from his body. Jeremiah removed the crown from the former King's head and placed on his before ordering the remaining guards to gather the people of his country before the fortress. When they came he had announced that he had killed the former King and had taken his place. The people of Aldren were shocked by the outcome but yet they had heard many great things about Jeremiah during his years in the military and gradually came to accept him as their new king.

In the year 1743 Jeremiah declared war on the Country of Lorran for unknown reasons, although it's rumored that he did it so he could spread his influence across the continent of Onoris. After three years however the country of Aldren began losing it's footing during the war and eventually the war ended with the death of Jeremiah and the utter destruction of Aldren.

Name: Avarizia (Real Name Unknown)
Age: Unknown
Birth Date: Unknown

No one knows where she came from but when she appeared it would forever mark the beginning of Lorran's largest pieces of history.

Several years after the death of Bandit King Jeremiah and the end of the country of Aldren; the country of Lorran would experience a short time of peace... Until July 13, 1750.

After midnight had come to past. the Lorran Capital City was attacked by a battalion of monsters. These monsters were humanoid shaped with red pulsating, vein-like skin and covered with yellow colored eyes across their bodies. They all wielded weapons of similar appearance and terrorized the city until morning when they were driven off by the combined forces of the guards, soldiers, and the Royal Knights of Arterias.

Later that day King Malco Arterias III had ordered his Knights to the castle and began discussing on what to do. There had apparently been reports of small towns and villages that were destroyed months earlier and it was kept secret from the public in order keep a widespread panic from happening. King Arterias also said that all sort of communications with the city of Anderen was lost as well.

Believing Anderen to be the base of operations for these monsters he ordered Head Knight Aaron Ortega and his battalion to head to Anderen to see if his assumption was correct and to eliminate the monsters and their leader.

When they arrived in Anderen the soldiers were swarmed by the monsters and a large battle began. One of the soldiers managed to push through the battlefield and make his way towards the fortress, where at the top he discovered the leader of the monsters.

She introduced herself as Avarizia and stated that her desire was to cleanse the world of humans. She drew her blade and shield, both sharing a similar appearance to the monsters she commanded, and attacked.

However the soldier was empowered with an indomitable will and a burning fighting spirit and managed to defeat her in the end. That soldier's name was Leon Ortega.

Thanks Kira! It's always nice to get some positive feedback when it comes to things like this.

It took me a while to figure out what do to do with Leon, Juri and Kouji's relationship. It started out with them all being good friends but then I decided that maybe I should have one of them hook up with somebody. I was thinking of maybe putting Leon and Juri together but the whole male protagonist hooking up with a childhood friend is kind of overdone.

So I decided to hook Kouji and Juri together and instead making it seem like they did it on their own and leaving Leon as sort of a third wheel, I made it so that Leon made them get together do to the fact that he got tired of his two best friends not getting together themselves when he knew they were made for each other.

Despite the busy agenda's the three have now, what with Leon constantly training with his parents, and Kouji being set up to be the head of his clan, and Juri helping out with her parents flower shop, they still manage hang out when they can.

As for Juri and her headband, it's because it was a gift from her parents so she holds it close to her heart.

And you'll be happy to know that I am writing the story... Well typing actually, my hand writing isn't the best in the world. But regardless of that I do almost have the prologue finished.

That's awesome! Will you post it up here? Or is it secret? ;)

Most likely. I don't really see the point in writing a story and not have people read it.

The whole Ortega family looks badass. Kouji and Avarizia look pretty awesome as well.

Hello there everyone! Long time no see. I'm terribly sorry for not updating this in quite a while but I've been rather busy. But I'm back to share a few more of creations as well as there backgrounds.

Name: Ryoma Kurai
Age: 35
Birth date: February 24, 1715

Bio: Ryoma Kurai hails from the far eastern country of Nippon. He came to the continent of Onoris at the age of 20 searching to become the world's strongest swordsman. During his many travels he had heard of a powerful swordsman who was only known by his title, The Master of Blades. Seeking to find this swordsman; Ryoma set out on a long and tiring journey. After months of searching he finally managed to get a lead on the location of this reclusive master. This lead would put him in front of the tallest mountain in the continent... the Spear-Point Mountain.

After a long and treacherous climb, Ryoma soon found his way to the top of the Mountain and at the top was a large tower. At the top sat the Master of Blades. Ryoma pointed his blade at the master and challenged him. The master accepted and soon a battle began.

However it barely lasted five minutes. Ryoma was overpowered and soon found himself on his back; his sword broken, honor lost, and a blade at his throat.

Ryoma waited for the killing blow but it never came. The Master of Blades merely turned around and began to walk away, uttering the words, "You arrogance got the better of you. If you wish to truly defeat me then return after you have learned some humility."

In a fit of rage Ryoma grabbed his broken sword and dashed towards the master in attempt to kill him. This however backfired on him. In a single swift motion the Master of Blades slashed at Ryoma... hitting his eyes.

Ryoma fell to the ground in pain grasping at his eyes while yelling out in agony. Soon the pain became to much and he passed out, but not before hearing these haunting words of the master. " Attacking a man when his back was turned. Have you no honor?"

When Ryoma came to he was resting in a bed that was held in a spare room of the tower. Realizing that he was now blind Ryoma was wracked with despair and dread. He no longer could make his dream a reality. Or so he thought.

Soon the master had approached him and began to scold Ryoma for the various things he had done. Ryoma turned away and said, "What does it matter anymore? I can no longer complete my dream of becoming the worlds greatest swordsman."

Silence filled the room until the Master of Blades busted out in laughter. "Why? Just because you're now blind?" He said. Ryoma looked at the master in confusion. The master then offered him something that would forever change his life. "I can teach you. Not just how to fight while being blind. But also many other things as well."

Ryoma was silent for a moment. "Teach me." Was his answer.

The master nodded and told him to rest, for they would have a lot of training a head of them. As he began to leave, Ryoma asked one question before he reached the door, "What is your name my master?". The master turned around and with a smirk hidden behind his mask he answered, "My name... Munashii".

Name: Malco Arterias III
Age: 28
Birth date: September 12, 1722

Bio: King Malco Arterias III is the current ruler of the Lorran and is considered to be the best one they've had since his father Malco Arterias II. During his younger days as the Prince of Lorran, Malco had dreamed to prove himself as a worthy ruler in battle however his father was overprotective and kept him from doing anything he deemed to be dangerous.

This all changed however when the war with Aldren began. Malco had desperately pleaded with his father that he wished to join the soldiers in order to help end the war. His father as always had told him no. Fuming at the thought of the many men and women dying in the war and not being able to help, Prince Malco disguised himself and enlisted in the army against his father's wishes.

When his father found his son was gone. He became overcome with worry and had sent as many soldiers he could in an attempt to find his son.

For the next three years Malco would find himself evading his father's soldiers.

At the climax of the war Malco had witnessed the final battle between Head Knight Marisa and the Bandit King Jeremiah. When it was over and Jeremiah was killed the entire army celebrated as the war was over. It was a happy moment... until they returned home.

As it turned out the night before the final battle with Aldren. An assassin had managed to sneak inside the castle and murdered the King... brutally.

When Malco found out he was wracked with grief over his father's death. He began to blame himself; saying that if he had never left then his father wouldn't have spent so much time worrying and would've been prepared.

A month later he was crowned as the new King of Lorran; and yet he felt hollowed. For the next year he was plagued with nightmares of the death of his father.

On anniversary of his father's death he was attacked inside the castle... by the same assassin. Even though he could not see what he looked like, Malco knew that it was the same man who had killed his father.

A small battled ensued with King Malco and the assassin going head to head with each other. It in ended in a dead lock between the two. Before Malco could do anything, assassin had hit him with a hidden blade.

"Relax..." The assassin spoke as he began to make his way towards a window. "I made sure to miss your vitals your majesty." His voice was one of mirth and evil. "You'll live this encounter. Such a shame that your father didn't survive his. HYAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" He cackled before jumping out the window.

As the King passed out due to his injury he soon found himself in a dream like state. He saw his father who had told him that he was proud for what he had done in the war and also to stop dwelling on the past. He told his son that in order to become a true king, he needed to overcome his grief and guide the country of Lorran towards a bright future.

After he heard his father's final words, King Malco found himself waking up. As he opened his eyes, King Malco noticed that the wound he had suffered was being bandaged up by the royal doctor. The doctor had told him that he would recover with in a few weeks of time before leaving to head back to his private quarters.

After the doctor left. King Malco got to his feet and began to make his way towards the balcony outside his room. As he stood there, looking over the Capital City, he thought about what his father had told him. He then looked towards the sky and said, "I swear father... I will lead the country of Lorran and it's people to a bright and new future."

Nice characters. My favorite of the new batch is Malco. I really enjoy your writing too, and I'm dying to know what's to become of Leon. Now that you've thoroughly established your cast and setting, I hope to see some narrative soon.

Big news everyone! The prologue to my story is finally up! It's called Soul Edge & Soul Calibur: The Lost Blades of Onoris, and it's in the fanfiction board. Check it out if you're interested.

Well now that I got that off my chest. I'm here to share two more characters with you guys. They're going to be minor characters in my story so there really isn't as much depth to them as some of my other characters.

Names: Jacob & Jacqueline Duello
Ages: 22 & 22
Birth Date: April 3, 1728
Family: Andrei Duello (Father), Sierra Duello (Mother), Richard Duello (Younger Brother)

Bio: Born in the city of Anderen; the twins Jacob and Jacqueline Duello lived an average life in the city with their parents until their dad, Andre, was offered a job to become a blacksmith for the Knights of Lorran. Being the opportunist he is he took it. And with that the twins soon found themselves living in the Lorran Capital City.

As they grew up they became amazed by the Knights and begged their parents to join the army when they were old enough. While apprehensive about letting them join the army at first; their parents soon gave in when Jacob and Jacqueline told them that they wanted to protect their country.

When the time finally came they joined the army at the ages of 18.

Luckily their parents didn't have to worry to much as they had joined just after the end of the Great Bandit War.

When they joined the army they started out as typical small class soldiers working under the command of Aaron Ortega one of the Royal Knights of Arterias. However they were promoted to Knights after they successfully stopped a group of left over soldiers from Aldren from raiding their the city where they were born, Anderen.

Personalities: The twins can both be considered bright young Knights for their age however the two of them are constantly butting heads with each other. They often tend to fight with each other over who is considered to be the better. Even at young age they were always trying steal attention from each other.

Jacob is considered to be the more reasonable of the two. He normally has a calm and cool head but when he is around his sister, his calm exterior can be broken quite easily.

Jacqueline however is considered the more hotheaded of the two. She often jumps head first into situations with out thinking of a plan. She's is also considered to be a bit of a klutz.

Heh. There's a funny story about these two actually. I had originally made them to show off what the armor of the standard knights of Lorran looks like for my story, Soul Edge & Soul Calibur: The Lost Blades of Onoris. But when I was done I got to thinking and decided to make them actual characters for the story. They're technically minor characters though.
