Anyone has a Vita?

Well i picked my vita up recently since gravity rush is around the corner so i decided to get my feel with the system and I must say its a very well put together system. Besides the accessories and everything else costing out the ass it *COUGHMEMCARDSCOUGH* but in particular the games look spectacular on it. Im a Dynasty warriors fan and im impressed how much people can be on the screen for the vita version. I also got katamari but i play that for the lulz and might get hot shots and rayman today. Just wondering if anyone else here has one.

I don't. Is it worth getting if i don't play my regular psp anymore?

Well, the online for some games (UMvC3, MK9) is far superior than its console counterparts, other notable differences that I know at teh top of my head are none.

as of right now no since there isnt much games for it. My reason for getting it was for monster hunter in the future and Gravity rush. I dont think it is truly needed now but like the ps3 it will start off slow and then hit hard as time goes on so I recommend a future purchase if anything sparks your interest really.

But by far it is vastly superior to the PSP hands down.

I got the Vita last week. It's a very good system, but sadly I don't use it much, since I didn't connect it to the internet yet and I don't have any Vita games yet (I'm waiting for Gravity Rush). As of now, I'm play SC:BD and LBP. I think it's a good system, but I hate the fact I cannot use it as a Mass Storage device. The Vita icon appears on a PC, but you can't do anything to it. The PSP allowed you to use the system as a USB drive and put anything on it, but the Vita forces you to use a media manager software to manage your content. What I hate about this manager is that you HAVE to be connected to the internet for it to work, (even when managing stuff on PS3 wtf) otherwise you can't put anything on it. So that means if you don't have an internet connection, you can't put anything on your fucking system. Without Mass Storage, you can't put stuff like pdf or word documents on the memory card, which is what I did for the PSP. It makes the system feel a bit "controlled" in a way.

I've had one for a while. Still playing Shinobido 2. Silly how much time I'm sinking into it. Gets tons better once you have some abilities built up and figure out how the strategy aspects shake out in regards to the
daimyo's.

The escort missions especially. If you actively steal blueprints and technique scrolls the guys you're escorting can actually hold their own against the attackers. Vastly different than the first time I tried it and the general I was trying to protect kept jumping off a cliff once bandits appeared.

Well with new IP's around the corner seems the vita will have some luck but lets just hope it doesnt die with time >_>X

I don't have one yet. But I really want one. :D I think later on this year Konami will be releasing for the TCG regions of the game Yugioh Tag Force 6. Hoping Sega will have more releases of the various Bleach games on the PSP or PSP vita that the US fans have not gotten yet.

How do you play PSP games on this? Just with the disc, or do you have to download them into the device?

You can download PSP games to the Vita; UMBs are physically impossible. I've been playing Gravity Rush and I gotta ask some of you guys why the hell haven't bought it yet!!!? 0_o

It's called "Real Life", dealing with bills, living on a budget and pay check to pay check that is why I haven't brought it yet.

Don't feel too bad there Metallix about not having one yet. I want one myself, I need to deal with saving for a new car and other bills.

For one thing, chill out. Gravity Rush is only $40. If you don't have a Vita, then my question obviously doesn't apply to you. Another thing; everyone goes through "Real Life" so there's no point in complaining to me about it. Even I cut back on my spending until I was finally able to get what I want.

RC you have to forgive Metallix. She has not been in the best mindset lately. Especially since looking at the calendar today, noticed her birthday is in 3 weeks. Metallix feels helpless, lonely, unappreciated and homesick.

Does the Vita have any problems connecting through NetGear routers?

Doesn't mean she needs to take it out on me. I've had my own fair of shit to put up with this week
