Well when we lost The Break Weekly for Soulcalibur, that pretty much means that there were no longer any consistent weeklies for Soulcalibur on the East Coast. Well I've just convinced Local Battles to give Monday nights to the Soulcalibur community! If you guys want to continue having weeklies for Soulcalibur, this is probably the LAST CANCE we have for consistent weeklies, so you guys better show up!

TIME: 8:00 PM EST (every Monday)
  • 8:00 PM - Soulcalibur V (Double Elimination) (PS3) - $10
  • 8:00 PM - Ultimate MvC3 (Double Elimination) (360) - $10
This is a LAN center, so show up as early as you want!​

RULES:
  • There is a $5 venue fee if you enter any tournaments!
  • All games will follow the national EVO rules.
  • BYOC - BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLERS.
  • Absolutely do not vandalize any of our equipment.
  • We reserve the right to search anyone suspicious.

Local Battles is BY FAR the best tournament venue for weeklies in the tri-state area. If you are caught drinking, or drunk, you will be escorted out, without refund. As well, no smoking is permitted within the venue. Be clean and courteous; clean up after yourself. The venue is provided to us in good faith of our attendees.​

Stream is provided by Jaxel of 8WayRun.Com. While the streams for the tournament take place in the evening, Jaxel tends to run video game streams before the event. Can't make it man. Hope it has a good showing since Thursdays are usually pretty good for me.

Okay, what about this next Thursday? Will AC Hookers be able to make it out?
 
ill be able to start going on the 10th if you guys are still doing this. i just have to finish up my semester and im in there every week.
 
Yo Jaxel. May 3rd is very good. I'll see if I can get the AC Hookers up.

We also might have an extended army who may be looking for some tournament experience. I'll keep this thread updated
 
I can make it today. Do you think enough people will actually show up to have a SC5 tournament ??
 
:( Couldnt make it because my doctors appointment ran longer than expected. I will try again next week. Thursday is actually a good day for South Jersey.
 
Next Thursday is on!

However, starting May 14, we are switching to Mondays... Thursdays don't seem to work for people...

So now we know, it only costs $8.50 to get to Local Battles from NYC... just take the 159 NJ Bus from the NY Port Authority and it will drop you off 1 block away from the venue!

Also, we have been getting requests to run the tournament on PS3 instead of 360... what do you guys think?
