In order that Project Soul doesn't have to sift through huge threads to get our feedback, this is a central location for some of the best suggestions from those of us who like to play dress-ups. I gleaned these from the Cepheus Store thread and the Create A Soul Patch Ideas thread, so if you have a great idea for CAS mode, post it there and maybe it will get on the list. Part 1: Changes/fixes to the CAS mode itself A: Top requests (If you have to pick something to change, please start with this list) Please fix the issue of CaS characters having different reaches and hitboxes from the character they're based on. Consider adding a checkbox: "Mimic size/reach of default style." Please only allow this type of default size CaS in online ranked. In player match lobbies please include an option to allow or disallow non-standard CaS characters. Please fix the issue of certain items of clothing (like belts) floating about 8 inches away from our character's body. It looks terrible. Please fix the clipping issues between certain items, or between the items and our characters' bodies. (Legs magically going through a skirt for example). Please fix the pitch/tone editing for the voices so they don’t sound like a robot or an insect if you set them much different than 0,0. Please add more slots for CAS characters. Some people have already made 50 and are out of room. There are many parts that are incompatible with others for reasons we do not understand. We understand the Chinese dress not going with pants, but some things could be equipped together, but it’s not allowed for some reason, (i.e., waist ribbon with skirts). Consider changing the way we assign faces to characters to allow us to edit facial features individually, either with sliders (for example, eye separation, eye angle, eye size), or with multiple pre-rendered options (eyes1, eyes2, eyes3, etc.) B: Secondary wishes: (If nothing is possible from the first list, come here) Allow us to edit Dampierre and Aeon. Give us Algol's and Ezio's styles to use to create original characters. (Don't know all the legal licensing details about Ezio, and we would understand if it's not possible, but Algol should surely be available for CAS). Let us translate paired equipment (e. g. horns, feathers of strength, goddess' feather brooch) across their horizontal axis as opposed to just setting them further apart from each other, which is what the "horizontal" slider currently adjusts. (Possibly add a "separation" slider and change the function of the horizontal slider.) Also, regarding paired equipment, allow us to "un-pair" it, so we could place a single pauldron or gauntlet, for example. Eyewear, capes, hats and belts should be adjustable like they were in Broken Destiny. Give us the ability to spin the model, not just pan the camera around. Numerical values on the Sticker positioning sliders (and any others that don't have it). It makes for easier reference if you're sharing with other people, not to mention more convenient if you screw something up and want to move it back. Consider allowing people to upload their creations to a central hub to be downloaded by others. Or at least think of SOME way to make it easier to recreate something posted on the internet than to have to tediously manipulate all the position and color sliders. (up/downloadable to usb stick?) Consider making at least some gender-specific CAS parts unisex. I don't really want to see Astaroth in pigtails, but certain things (like the oathkeeper's outfit), could be worn by the opposite gender and look good Allow us to choose the character's emotions. It's impossible to make a serious young lady or a sad character like Pyrrha, because all young faces look like they're posing for a picture. Some people have suggested allowing us to choose which parts break, or adding a second mesh to items to show their broken state. This idea isn’t bad, as long as you also allow us to immediately turn off an opponent’s CAS (from the pause menu if need be) if we start an online match and see they have 3 huge thundergod drums, or a giant penis and our kids are in the room. C: Additional stuff (We’d like to see these, but won’t lose any sleep if they’re not included) Give us the same color pallet for underwear as for regular clothes. Not only to make skin tone-colored underwear, (which many people have already figured out how to do anyway), but even just RED or ORANGE undies. Let us put stickers/scars on characters’ legs. Let us modify stickers' width and length individually as opposed to just their overall size. Allow us to change the background stage, so we can see our creations in the varying light conditions instead of the stark brightness of Elysium's stage. Allow the pose animations to be slowed down or paused for easier snapshot taking. Add in missing poses/win animations for pictures. Or, even better, allow us to use every single move in our characters move list for pictures. Part 2: Additional items/equipment we'd like to see as DLC (aka, plz take our money PS) A: Top requests (If you have to pick something to make, please start with this list) TALIM'S AND ZASALAMEL'S STYLES (Hwang or Yunsung too). I’m sure you already knows this. They're the only "missing" characters we can't recreate. However, instead of just their styles, we'd really prefer to have the actual characters available as DLC. Many of us want to recreate classic characters. We would pay dearly for a classic character CaS pack. For example: Seung Mina Pack: Some or all of her hairstyles from previous games, all her gear/outfits, accessories/stickers/etc., her face, quotes from previous games as a new voice preset, and some weapons for the Xiba style. (Same for Taki, Talim, Setsuka, Rock, Cassandra, Li Long, etc.) More voices. Really not the actual voices as much as the phrases they say. The ones in the game aren't bad. But we're very limited in what we can create with those voices. Those of us who want to recreate the classic characters would love to have classic character voices as well. No matter how many classic or new items you give us to make the perfect recreation, if the voice is wrong, it's not that character. A Dragunov-style “silent” option for voice would be nice too. Also consider voices with accents, (British, Spanish, French, German, etc.) More faces. If we're stuck with pre-rendered faces, and you can't change the CAS mechanics to allow us to edit facial features individually, we need more presets. Classic SC character faces would be great to begin with. B: Secondary wishes: (If nothing is possible from the first list, come here) Keep it up with the classic equipment. As many of the old outfits from previous games as you can squeeze in. We'll buy them. More stickers/patterns, like the option to add rips or fraying to cloth and the option to put burns, rust, pitting, or metal scars in armor. Patterns that mimic textures like leather, fur, velvet, feathers, bandages, lace, spandex, fishnet, glossy legging fabric, etc. The scales are great, but we want MORE! More hairstyles. Specifically, all the player 2 hairstyles already in the game, but others as well, like SC4 and SC3 styles. Alternately, consider incorporating Tekken's hair customization system. More weapon trails. For example, a smoky weapon trail, or one that resembles water or sparkles or coins. More weapons for characters, especially those we'd need to create classic characters (i.e., Li Long's nunchucks, Setsuka's umbrella, Shura's katanas) This post will be updated as I sift through the threads, and as people post more great ideas in them. If you see something not listed anywhere send me a PM, and if it's not terrible, I'll add it as well.
