Create A Soul Mode Patch Ideas

I think that most of us dont want the quotes the CAS voice have. If you only could change the quotes...

Alright its my I'll start off with regular characters...

- Being able to change their make-up or put tattoos.

That it all. LoL...

Now to CaS
-Definitely more voices. I want a scared voice for my CaS, or a worried one. Just something with more variance. Or how about if they don't speak? I wanted some of my characters to be the cool silent type but no...Its not a big deal but whatever.
-What if I wanted to change my characters nail color? ( hands and feet)
-More hairstyles...made unisex...-_-;;
-I hate the gaps or the fact that i put shoulder armor on Pyrrha and the armor looks like it took steroids. Also that fact that I want to put a belt on Pyrrha and the belt is HUGE...
-Okay I understand why the flesh tones are off...but seriously, I would love it if they included red in it..or orange.
-More slots for the special equipment. Three slots is not enough!
-Better faces..I literally only use 3 face for the men and only like..2 for the girls. Why cant we have teen faces hell even child faces! And if people say "oh no not child faces that promoting child violence!" Bitch please. Look at Amy in SC4 to a certain extent even Talim, Lexia, ect
-The folder idea..Pure genius!
-The intro cut scene...I hate the fact that the regular characters get their fancy intro while my characters look plain and shit. I would like the regular characters camera work or maybe we get to do out own camera work! Just like in the Raw vs Smackdown series.
- Being able to change the intro and ending quotes. Maybe it's a petty thing but I would love it if my heartless warrior would say something much more witty than "I'm hungry" after winning a battle of death.
-Back to the intro thing, what if we got to change the ending pose + ending quote ( same with intro) ...I mean i have a Xiba CaS and all he says is " oh god I'm alive" then hops on his staff and you can only see his feet. Also another thing for the intro why cant we have all the regular characters ending pose Ex: Natsu's disappearing, Pyrrha's running away etc. Or what if we could make them cry at the end or laugh psychotically and say something like " hahahahaha I love to watch you bleed to death" or something like that.
- All the previous character outfits! Man, I'd by that! But in separate parts! Also unisex! If Saint's Row can do it, why cant you?
-Back to the voice thing, what about accents? I would love to see a British accent or a french or maybe a Spanish one.
-As for the eyes, I would like more eye options like: two different colored eyes or different eye shapes ( cat, frog etc).
Also I would love if out CaS could have Nightmare eyes like PO ~
- I would like it if shoulder pads, arm stuffs were like a left and right sort of thing. I really like this armor but i don't like it on the other shoulder. (insert sad face)
-The incompatibility! Enough said.
-Back to the faces, I wouldn't mind being able to mold a CaS's face but its not a huge desire of mine. I would be fine if it was like the eyebrow selection thing but for the rest of the face. ( face shape, ears, nose, lips etc.)
- I would like fancy clothes..cus that's how I like to dress Ivy.
-More shoes.
-Another thing for the arm equipment I would love if we could layer that stuff! For example, the spiked bracelets with the fingerless gloves~
-For hair...I would really love long hair~ I wanted a character with long LOOSE hair up to they're waist. And a ponytail.. or side-swept hair~ Of course unisex.
-Not a huge thing but more earrings.
-Better stockings, socks etc.
-More weapons.
-Being able to turn off the destruction of thy precious armor.


Hm that's all for now...And PS if you reading this, I know it's alot of work on your part but we would much appreciate these things~....I would even wait for this stuff in SC6! Now would be great but later is alright.

Yep, I agree with all this here as well! I especially love the idea of having another slot for arm equipment. I totally forgot how annoying it was that I would equip say the wristbands or arm band and can't also be wearing the rocker gloves and such. So yeah! I agree with this highly! Also the camera angles, it's sucks that the CAS characters have boring intro/outros and not dynamic ones like the original cast. And also accents! I'd kill to see a English, German, or French accent. :D

Yeah, I just agree with everything. I hope PS reads these forums lol. And they have to remember that they can take as much time as they need. :)

I was also thinking what if we could make our own theme? Like upload music from our media player or usb and like upload to the game that way we could have a theme for our CaS :D

Ooh that would be a good one too! Like, the patch can make it where you can upload say up to 100 Mp3s that you can use for a theme. I know I'd be using a lot of Gothic classical music for my characters lol.

I thought separate face items of cas into Full face, Eyes and Mouth. Eyes and mouth could be together, full face dont let you put eyes or mouth. Mostly because i used that cool iron mask, but couldnt add something for the eyes, to look even cooler

You can make vampire teeth by using a couple of horns, but it's a real bitch to get it looking decent. The different between vampire and buck teeth is disturbingly small o_O

Lmao yes i tried that but im not satisfied..My character looks like a saber tooth cat XD....with an std..since for some reason all the CaS faces on the men side seem to be constipated XD

Well I'm bored and decided to post some more previous Soul Calibur outfits that I'd love to see come into CAS. xD

Although this is redundant, I would just like to restate more character slots. 50 is not enough.... I already have like half dedicated just to my main. I would love to make multiple secondary costumes for each character.

Other than that, everyone else has some really rad ideas but the ones I would prioritize based on the above comments are:

1) Item break option (decide what can break).
&
2) Being able to put scars and facepaint on customized character using original character models.

In all honesty I feel the quality of the non-standard player character models has always been poor. As such I would like more focus on options for modifying the original character models (ie. Hilde, Misturugi, etc...). Personally I would be a much more happy camper if non-standard player character models were scrapped completely just to allow for many more options when modifying the original character models. This would also side step the issue of people online making customer characters specific sizes in order to manipulate reach and hitbox; hence these character being banned from tournaments.

Someone I played earlier brought up a suggestion as a stopgap measure untill they do increase the slots. Save your game, then save another copy of it on a USB stick. You should be able to delete the CASes from the copy on the stick and then when you start the game, just choose which group you want. Of course, anything you do in that session will only be saved on that file, so its not ideal, but better than nothing if it works.

And well, since they are dipping into the Tekken clothes, I'd love to see these outfits... lol

Yeah, I would want to see more traditional outfits from Tekken that could pass as slightly authentic to the Soul Calibur 5 time period. I know it's kind of stupid but I'm not all into modern clothing for this particular game because I'm an authenticity nut but even if they do include them, I don't mind. I just hope they would include some period-esc clothing as well.

I just tested the multi save trick, it works. Going to keep my originals on my main save and conversions on another one

Wow, such great ideas! XD I only have this tiny thing to add:

Texture Pack : You know how the snake skin, scale and alligator(?) skin patterns seem to change the texture? What if you gave us patterns that mimic textures like leather, fur, velvet, feathers, bandages, lace, spandex, gloss (glossy legging fabric) etc. I've seen the scales and stuff used to great effect so being able to change the material would be awesome ^_^ (of course it would kinda suck that you couldn't put patterns on those patterns...)

I have to disagree with this. I know it sucks to see a well-designed, well-thought out costume get torn to pieces, but seeing users use gigantic spheres and drums to confuse players and make huge penises at an attempt at middle school-level humor, I'm glad we have equipment destruction. At least it's not random and frequent like in SCIV and not everything flies off.

Their character creation systems are nothing alike. As someone said, SCV has two separate meshes for males and females. Saints Row only uses one for both genders, thus is more flexible when it comes to making things unisex. Plus, if you compared the two, SCV's character creation has a bit more options and has higher quality. Also, I'd rather get more new items than have them give rehashes of old gear. I think we're being greedy by asking them to include everything from previous games.
