I need to play DOA4 again, But I hate the controller D-pad..I don't have funds for a Joystick

I was never really a fan DOA and it was mostly because of Itagacki( since I really like Tekken) and the oversexed stuff.
Recently I realized that I should at least play the game and see why other people like it and try to keep away from an already ignorant and negative opinion I have of it. I've never had a chance to play it because I've never owned an Xbox long enough.

So I'll think about picking this up when it comes out, it looks pretty cool. If Helena is in, I can't wait to see what she looks like.

It is a great a game buddy, Once you understand the unique timing of DOA you realize it has so much Depth! And it it a lot like SC in the sense that its 4 basic button in combination with the movement that make up an animation as oppose to Tekken!

Oh and the graphics are top notch!

I sadly have been unable to play a DOA game since DOA 2 Hardcore. I am looking forward to playing one again finally. I plan on buying 2 fighting games next year and so far DOA has a slight edge over Tekken currently with Soul Calibur being my main game.

Wonder what they plan for a release date considering they've only given us a very small glimpse of what is to come.

I'm guessing the holiday or towards the end of the year, Right before the World Ends ;)

All that stuff looks cool but i want to see what a non-ninja fighter will do with all hyped up shit

If Helena is anything like Chun-Li, she will be an instant main. But the main Characters I want to see is Lei-Fang, Ayane, and Bass.

Brad better do some crazy drunken aerobatic shit off the ledge and land head first in your stomach. Eliot needs the x ray style from MK because his punches are serious.

Dude Kasumi will go off with crazy pink teleporting shit everywhere lol, Lisa will do flips on your ass, Jan lee will bust some crazy Burce lee punches before tossing you in the air and dropping a dragon kick on u... Ohyeah

Helena is not like Chun li but she does have those chuni lee kicks!

Yeah she's no ninja but is really good thats for sure. She has a lot of uncounterables maybe the most I counted over 10 at one point in time. Although I would not doubt it if Busa had more. Of course uncounterables alone don't make a character good just thought it was interesting.
