Favorite fighting style and why?

Hmmmhmmm as far as styles go I love Devil Jin to pieces but since he's not allowed anywhere/not SC I'll take my fangirling for that somewhere else.
Hilde was my first style simply because I like polearms, I've gone back to her recently to learn more of her moves because as fun as LOL B EVERYWHERE it gets me fucked up FAST. I find that a lot of her moves are really cool to watch [her running A+B is one of my favourite moves in the game] and her hold moves are a good learning tool to break me out of my button mashan mode. Ringing people out with her side throw is guaranteed lulz as well.
I really like Cervantes as well but he his waaaaaaay out of my skill range. I like how he can attack from all sides, and trolling my friends with his 8A+B~B once I figured out how to do that was priceless.
I wish Kilik wasn't a mimic. He's pretty much the only character I used in 4 and like Korin said, Xiba doesn't quite carry the torch/staff/what have you for my taste. :T oh well.
I've also started to get a liking for Patroklos. Just his style though, I don't think I can handle that much justice.

My favorite fighting style has to be Raphael's. He makes me feel like such a gentleman, especially in earlier games when he had all those flashy stances.

Yeah. Honestly I liked Raph in 2 and 3. But when he got to I didn't really like his character...

His play style in 5 is totally different though! Honestly I am surprised how much I get thrown off by it. Its much more vertical to keep to the fencing style, but in the other games he had a lot of decent horizontal attacks.

I actually enjoy all the styles, but I do have my top three...

Tira: She was made for me. Gleeful laughter while slashing someones throat? Check. Can randomly turn from manic to a hurricane of RAEG and destruction plus vice versa? Check. Unstable? Check. Would kill everyone else in an asylum? Check. Sexy? Check. Really, she's got it all. Crazy chicks are the best <3

Dampierre: There's something to be said of troll characters. They're awesome.

Patsuka: Makes a good foil to my other two favorites, from psychotic and unpredictable to cold and robotic precision. Love it.

i'm speaking about the general style of the character, not really on why i love their gameplay

Nightmare: i loved this style in the past, because you many a gigantic cursed blade , you really had the feeling to be able to overpower anything. Even the normal stance of Nightmare ( when you dont move at all ) reflects strength.

aPatroklos: Dignified, swift and deadly, that's the impression i have when watching aPat. I also like the Seathe-unseathe sword art a lot. The normal stance of aPat shows self-control and accuracy. That's a very classy style in my opinion

Pat and Pyrrha, since they took Cassandra and Sophitia away. Oprah is more like Sophitia but she also poses like a nutjob so I don't use her style too often.

Siegfried, so I can whiff in style. Lol

Back on topic, its Mitsu for me. But as of late, I've developed more of a fondness for aPat and ZWEI due to their learning curves.

I've been trying out more and more of the styles, both in V and in past games as I get a hold of them.

I understand why everyone hates Mitsurugi now. Holy shit it's ridiculous. It's a good thing the computer [only option I have, no internet connection] doesn't play him like how I do or else I'd be so fucked. Dat 66B

If you do 66BB it's launch punishable. >:D

Where's the Ivy option at?

Out of those, Elysium, because I've managed to get almost all of the female styles down except Viola, who I CAN play but... Not that well.

My personal favorite is Ivy. I've been playing her since SC2, and if I had SC1 it would have been since then. I love her because she's not really that used in the community, and for those who do use her, fewer are really good with her like I like to think I've gotten. Other then that, Hilde has a spot in my heart next to Ivy, and so does Setsuka, may she rest in peace where ever she may be.

I mostly main DJ and Natsu though.

I like quite a few for different reasons.

Mitsurugi: Not impossibly difficult to use, his sword is physically possible to wield :P, and he is just plain cool.

Patroklos: Very easy to use, got a couple of flashy moves.

APat: Very flashy and quick, pity I can't play him properly.

ZWEI: He's different :P

Yoshi: WHOOO! YAAAH! Nuff said.

Pyrrha omega: She's very agressive and when she's on the battle she's like "I'm here just to kick your ass, not to prove anything"

Raphael: She looks very fancy

Ezio: He is like very balanced in damage, range and speed

Natsu: She's Faster Than a Howling Wind
