Fightstick or Fightpad?

which one do you think is better? I recently got back into fighting games after a year break. I sold my fightstick some time ago and planning on getting another one but also thinking about getting just a fightpad. Which one do you think is better?

any experience would be nice if you could tell me yours with either of them! Thank you!

Its really all preference, I used to play on stick, but then converted to hitbox, best decision I ever made haha.
I feel a hitbox is the best fit for me. I play MK, Injustice, TTT2 and SoulCal5 and anime fighters occasionally.
The hitbox made it a lot easier for me to move around on 3D fighters and improved my combo execustion.
