Help - make me a Turkish woman!

Just to clarify - I myself do not wish to be a Turkish woman. I admire their candour but it's a life choice I cannot commit to...

Anyways, one of my main OCs throughout the Create-A-Soul process is Turkish (Constantinople to be exact) and I'm really struggling to come up with designs for SCV. I've seen some amazing OCs on the boards made my people so I was wondering if anyone can help me.

When I'm creating costumes, I like to have at least a small bit of historical accuracy going on. I like these concepts so far:

Also, I did try at one stage to recreate this Sophitia costume but failed:

If anyone could help me create some similar designs then that would be great! Stickers and patterns aren't a big deal at the moment but use them by all means.

Just a note - it's only the costume I need, not the actual character design.

well...that one picture with the yellow dress and blue pants...i can tell that would possibly be the cloak in upper body wear (shirts and what not), arabian pants in lower body wear, and those curled shoes. the headress may be a tad rough tho...
what specifically are you looking for in the woman? royal dress? commoner's dress? military dress?

The character is of a high status, so royal dress and high-society-type clothing is appropriate, as is military (hey, everyone's in battle here!) I did like the first example you posted but haven't a clue on recreating it.

I don't understand what you mean by flavour...

I meant style...the link u gave for Tialys had SC3 and SC4 pics of her, and I was wondering if you wanted something like that for her? or a SC5 original/new version of her.

Hmm...at first I thought that Sophitia costume would be hard but...now that i look at it...might be able to do it. I'll post some pics later tonight or tomorrow afternoon
