If you could make stages in SCV, what would you make? (SC STAGES)

[10] Knight
(Example)
1) RING OUT STAGES
2) ENVIORMENTAL STAGES
3) LAVA, SAND, ICE STAGES
4) NO WALL STAGES!!!
5) BRING BACK SCIII STAGES

W/e you like, anything that comes off your image, theme, weather, culture, style, etc. This thread will be a discussion about stages in SC.

My somewhat version of a stage...

This is a nice thread.

1. Jyurakudai Villa (Obviously). Sucks that it got destroyed after Hideyoshi was overthrown. Maybe a stage similar to it.
2. Natsu, and Leixia are fine with the stages they got.
3. For Xiba, something similar to this. Monkeys and all. Either that or Ling Sheng-Su Temple

Yeah, stages used to be far better in earlier SC games...
I particularly like the Labyrinth stage, but not as a stage, more as lore... I'd love that labyrinth to feature in some kind of single player mode.

I miss the old fun stages, such as the ice stages... less the sand and bomb(?) stages.

Hmmm...
I was overjoyed when first saw Unknown Forest last year, and I use it obsessively as a training stage. Id like to see more natural stages, particularly dark and swampy stages. An endless forest stage would be a nice addition, and I'd say its easy but both SC and Tekken have issues with endless stages, and I'd hate to see it done badly.

I can also imagine a dark, overcast beach, with shipwrecks in the background one way, dramatic mountains, streams and cliffs the other... and footprints as you move.

Like those, but with some drama?

Ummm...
What about the bright light of the inside of a cave's entrance. Pitch black one way, the light from outside lights the characters against the dark background... Bright the other, but the characters are comparatively darker. Subtle of course, you don't want to be giving anyone eye strain... or disrupting concentration... but i like the idea of that contrast.

The pathway in the first is actually a nice feature when i think about it. Could be a trade route?
I know there's already a cave, but... Pizza slice platform ruins it, it doesn't seem natural, and there's no view outside... That stage feels fairly unatmospheric, even though its only marred by a few small things.

What about... a tiny village... a backwater feel...
I had Aleroth (best picture I could find unfortunately, as the Wiki for this game is named after this town.) in my head when I thought of this.

I'm thinking a nice medieval church as a prominent feature, fairly dark, lots of foliage... candlelight from the houses... This idea isn't as concrete in my head.

You got same good badass stages, I sure as hell would of loved to pick those & fight their alot. Even though I know that these pictures arent what you intended to have in your mind. Who knows, these stages could of been even more astonishing to pick.

More stage with sun, maybe even just "day/sun version" of some stages

Had an usual hard on lookin at the stages you had in mind. First & fourth one were damn beautiful.

A middle-ages marketplace would be awesome! Clear blue skies, grey-stone walls, colored designer windows, breakable stalls (if you get wall hit) with different color overhangs (stripes, dots, etc,) Cobblestone roadway, Onlookers, and of course the occasional chicken running across. It would be linear like Astas stage.

I think a revamped Jyurakudai Villa would be beautiful, with Ephemeral Dream to go along with it. :) I had no idea that it was destroyed.

I think a stage inside Ostrheinsburg Castle would be really nice. Like I know how we get a freaking raft stage around it and that one stage with the knights but I don't think it does it justice. Maybe if we got to see inside (like in SC Legends) we could judge and see how fancy Nighty's house is. :D

I miss playing other stages, & I'm aware that we all do. However, am I the only one who finds SCV stages to be pretty downfall-ish to a point where you only like to pick one stage?

I just thought...
Astaroth's stage is incredibly long, but very thin...

That cave I mentioned... To the far right of the stage could be a small, cramped valley, perhaps similar to how Unknown Forest is now, the center being the entrance to the cave, and everything left is within the cave.
Players start facing the vertically, so, closer to the walls basically.
That might compromise the contrast a little, but there would be lots of variety within that one stage. The cave could have vast chasms for ring outs at the far end, the forest could have cliff edges for wall hits. The cave could even cave in for the final round, forcing the fight to the forest for a very confined fight.
There's lots of things that could be done with a stage like that...

Here's some of my ideas for stages.

-How about bringing back Kilik's stage from SCIII, Proving Grounds, or just have a stage set in a Himalayan village, where it's snowing.
-Imperial City Ayutthaya would be nice to have back
-A stage set in the African Savannah with Lions, Giraffes, and other wildlife roaming around at dusk or night time.
-Another stage, one set inside a Mayan Temple or on top of one where the players can see another temple in the background as someone is being ritualistically being sacrificed. The weather conditions for that stage would be cloudy or rainy (with some sunlight peeking out)
-How about another stage located in Turkey, probably inside the Sophia Hagia

-More gimmick stages. Ice, wind, sand, water(let's say knee-high at the most). I don't care about the excuses for the battles taking place in them, I just want them. So let's say Algol or Edge Master or someone mystical created them out of boredom.

-Some kind of multi-story building on fire with multiple rings, having rounds end differently at different locations result in a different ring to fight in the next round. Start with the first stage as a regular square ring on a roof and have a glass ceiling on one side to be knocked through into a study, another side a torture chamber that's collapsing in on itself, and if the match extends to a full five rounds the floor could give way to a wine cellar with little breathing room but lots of breakable walls(barrels of wine). The winner standing outside amongst the ashes would be pretty stylish.

-A destroyed version of Zasalamels clock tower with a rainstorm going on the whole time. Ring out shifts the stage to fighting on a rooftop with geometry similar to the upper part of Astaroths SCV stage.

-A new Astral Chaos stage, with a constantly-shifting ring. The size, shape, and walls of the ring would be shifting every few seconds; but not shift too close to the fighters to avoid any sudden and genuinely unfair ringouts/wallsplats.

Another Themorphorus (or whatever)-esque stage.
Tower of Rememberance Ancient Gate(personal favorite, this and the garden)
Love the raft stages, keep em.
A stage that's a more medieval version of TK's Fallen Colony(+some fragile ground that breaks when a person is smashed on it)
Hah! I just thought about a stage where there is only a small island surrounded by a sea of malfested people trying to grab the fighters.
