How does his Ivy look compared to his NM?
He spaced a lot against me with Ivy and baited a lot of whiffs. On wake up he abuses 2K and he does a lot 1K. I lost every match against him ^^' it was 6-0 for him at the end; two times against his Ivy and 4 times against NM. His NM feels similar to his Ivy; he steps like crazy with both of them and everytime I do an attack it whiffs. Keev is so difficult to read; I felt completely free against him. I'm quite confidence in my Ivy knowledge and he was mostly using basics, but his spacing skills made up with it. Seriously, I never never saw somebody move like him, it felt like he totally knew what I was going to do next and stepped always right.
The combo/tech trap thread is nearly completeted. I'll finish the tech trap section when I find my tech trap notes. If you guys find any errors or if there is something missing, point them pls out, I'll correct them as soon as possible.
A little feed-back would be also nice^^. It's my first time doing something like this; not really sure if I have done stuff in the right way.
I have a few useful tech traps I'd like to mention when I get back from NY!
I guess I only have one haha:
2_3B+K > run forward > 88B BE > BT FC B for around 100
As opposed to 2_3B+K > 2_3B+K for 50
2_3 B+K> run> FC1B(trap)
Really? Does it launch? Even big characters?
I was only able to get this to work on back tech, but I was able to do FC1(B) on forwad and back tech.
Added to the list^^
I didn't think of FC 1B tech trapping. I think we should test this after moves like CH 4K, CH 3(A), CH 4A. Plus, FC 1B has slight tracking so it might catch some side techs.
FC 1B works after 1_2_3B+K I just got it to work lol; the timing was kinda weird and it even launches big chars like NM. I'm gonna test FC 1B_FC1(B)B on everything that allows the opponont to tech on KND.
But only back tech?
My bad that was a mistake. It doesn't work only on back tech. I shouldn't post while playing halo wars lol. After some attacks it does hit, but FC1B doesn't launch, cuz they're too far away due to the back tech.
Edit: FC1(B)B gets them when they back.
Here are some tech trap findings that weren't yet in the official thread.
In tech traps, 44(A)6 will sometimes combo with 2B+K > 2B+K
CH 4A *I got 44(A)6 to work all directions on ZWEI
-FC 1(B) : R/B/F
-FC 1(B) : R/B/F
-FC 1B : All
-FC 1(B) : All
-FC 1B : All
-3B : All
I'll complete the tech-trap list and add those tech-traps, when I'm back from E.B.O. Atm I'm lacking some free-time, cuz I'm working overtime in order to afford the trip to E.B.O..
I'm not sure if this was mentioned, but it's possible to end wall combos with bK for more damage than doing 3b+k twice. For example:
CH 2A+B, 6B8 BE w!, 7B+K, 6B8 BE w!, 3B+K, 3B+K -159 DMG
CH 2A+B, 6B8 BE w!, 7B+K, 6B8BE w!, 3B+K, dash bK - 162 DMG (and better wake up)
Can you not do 3B+K and then dash for the bK?
That's the idea. You replace the second 3B+K with bK.
Ahh, alright. I was just wondering if it wasn't possible since you didn't have it.
Can you get a FC 1B off a wallsplat?
Like CH 2A+B > 6B8~BE W! > 7B+K > 6B8~BE W! > Dash > FC 1B > Turn > 6B8?
I'm not sure you'd have to dash.. You can get iWR A+B.B from where you stand, I think. I haven't trained with Ivy in a while, but I'm pretty sure you could.
Separate names with a comma.
