A few words for newcomers about the character:​

Leixia is a daughter of Xianghua who has been playable since SoulCalibur for Dreamcast. Since there are 17 years between SoulCalibur IV and V, Namco Bandai decided to leave Xianghua out of the cast and let us play Leixia. Nevertheless, gameplay-wise "the young Xian" feels similar to her mother so if you played Xianghua in previous games, Leixia will be probably your first SoulCalibur V pick.​
