I can't believe that. Is that supposed to mean i26?
  2. Age_of_Truth [10] Knight

It's i26 including the quick step. We didn't see the point in putting in +10f for every 8wayrun move.

To keep it simple, if you are running around the arena and you press 2B or 8B, it will come out 16f after you press the button. If you buffer 22B or 88B, it will come out 26f after Leixia moves, because the first 10f are a quick step

    Ok, I see.
And 22K being i28 means it's i38 if you buffer it? It's the same way for every 22_88 moves?

NOTE* you can 22B or 88B WITHOUT quick stepping. Same applies for all of her 8wayrun moves, but to do this you must press the 8wayrun command quickly! If you do, you will not see a quickstep effect.

Funny seeing all the comments here about an "X bandwagon" from SC2. I think that wagon existed from SC1 to SC3.

Keep the faith, guys. Leixia is a very safe character as long as you don't *always* try to look cool. Safety first, coolness later.
  7. Nate [05] Battler

I can't do it. =( I blame my xbox controller.
  8. ShinjiUrahara ATL's FINEST Leixia SA Mod

Yeah Xbox controllers aren't really made for fast easy tapping but once you get used to it should be a problem.
  9. PartyEagle [05] Battler

if i dont want the quick step i usually buffer from a 66 or 44 and do a fb motion to 2 or 8 for 22_88B. but that isnt frame perfect either just keeps you from stepping before hand( fuck getting run countered in this game haha)

Against Omega you need to be the punisher I'd say. Step punish her (she has weaker A's) and punish her unsafe moves with 6KK, which leads to Leixia's strong FC mixup game.

I've started transcribing some of this into the wiki for those who prefer that format: http://8wayrun.com/wiki/leixia-frame-data-sc5/

    Currently done: All

I have verified extremely little of it myself, although I've added a few notes and also CH properties where I thought they might differ.

/edit/ Alright, it's all transposed now, again I haven't verified much of it. If you see a typo or potentially incorrect info, bring it to my attention or the attention of your friendly local SA moderator.

This was super useful. Few things though!

    1) Are you guys sure WR B and WR B BE have the same startup? I coulda sworn WR B BE is faster...

    2) There is a small typo in the OP with 2A+B, says i22 on block instead of -22.

    3) There's no data for BT B+K.
  12. Alpha [10] Knight

I didn't see B+K B on there. I take advantage of that... a lot. It seems pretty safe, can I get stats on it?
  13. MystSilver [05] Battler

    I don't think B+K B exists anymore, do you mean WR B?
  14. Ikuwayo [04] Fighter

wtf WR B is retarded indeed, -2 on block LOL. brb gonna abuse it too

Same for 4A and 4K. Damn, Leixia is much safer than I thought, and I had already expected her to be pretty agile!

While Rising B is not safe.

it says -16 for wr b on the front page of this thread, can you not read?
  17. Ikuwayo [04] Fighter

    Whoops meant WR K :P

WR B is most definitely not safe no.

Guys I will do some frame data tests once I've downloaded the patch. If any PSN users want to make a head start it'd be appreciated :)

In particular, I was messing around at my friend's house yesterday on PS3 and it seemed like the stab feint cancels (44aB etc) are not nerfed, in fact maybe they are even better!?! Can someone verify? To be more specific, they used to be +4 on block, yesterday they seemed to be better than this and still did a chunk of guard burst damage
