Livestreaming/Video Editing.

Hi guys, I use the HD PVR hauppauge for video game captures. I can get the job done when uploading video's straight to youtube, or streaming but I'm trying to upgrade. My CPU is decent, but it can't handle video editing. I can video edit, but it slows down and starts freezing up when playing around with HD video's and I can't view the video's i'm editing in real time.

When streaming online to twitch/justin t.v I can only stream up to 786 x 482 resolution with a frame rate of 20.00fps. The quality is decent, however with the capture card I have I can stream with better settings, it's just that my CPU can't handle it. So what should I do?

Here's the CPU.

Can I upgrade my CPU without buying a entire new CPU because it's not even a year old. If so, what upgrades should I get? (Not all that good when it comes to upgrading cpu's).

erm ... tbh, you should probably get a new system.

ideally, 8gb ram would be good... along with at least 1 tb hd @ 7200 rpm. western digital caviar black is one of the best bang for the buck hd's in terms of speed.

new processor and graphics card would help as well ..
