Megaman Vs Sonic

Who would win in a fight, Megaman or Sonic?

Let's be honest people, Megaman's tool set is far too versatile to really believe Sonic stands a chance. Sonic has what three powers? He can run fast, spin into a ball, and go super. He also can't swim. The winner of a fight, especially a theoretical one, is determined by their tools and how well they allow them to adapt.

I was also thinking, in Megaman games the spikes kill instantly. In Sonic games, he can hit them then recover. Megaman games are way harder, therefore Megaman must be way stronger. If Sonic fought Megaman on his home turf, he'd probably hit spikes then die.

So when put under the microscope, Megaman seems to win. But when looking at the polls, Sonic has the most votes. I think this means the average person needs to think harder.

Speedster characters are all OP anyway, because speed can be used as a deus ex machina to get out of any situation if you use it right.

Megaman can stop time, which is obviously better than just being fast. His time stopper ability when he beats Flash Man. His top spin ability would also be very effective vs Sonic. Also the power he gets from gravity man. Megaman has endless tools at his disposal. Sonic just runs fast..............

The Flash "just runs fast" but you read any bullshit comic and you see him doing stuff like causing someone not to die by running faster than existence to the point where death doesn't exist anymore because it can't catch up.

Speed is a bullshit power.

A Robot doesn't even have to worry about death. That only applies to the puny realm of mortals that MegaMan doesn't live in.

this is irrelevant. If sonic transforms into Darkspine Sonic he can use time break.
