New Artwork and Assets from GamesCom 2011

As GamesCom 2011 continues in Cologne, Germany, Namco continues their steady release of new information and artwork. While a few select Europeans are getting the chance for a first hands on with the game itself... (curse you, Kayane!) we're stuck here with screenshots and artwork only!

Eagerly awaiting Kayane's impressions... The game looks amazing. Fuck the haters.

 

I love how Maxi, Tira, and Voldo's outfit are inspired from III.

This artwork is sweet. I've never been disappointed by SC artwork, it's the best.

 

i was kinda hoping for tira to return.. her story felt unfinished as it is now... maybe she'll get a more important role this time..

 

Voldo's codpiece is terrifying/disturbing no matter which way you look at it.

I think they're taking artistic inspiration from 3 all around, which is great, because I thought it looked a lot better than 4 TBH.

That would be awesome. Unfortunately, the chances of him actually speaking Russian and not Japanese or English are virtually zero, which really detracts from the character in my eyes.

 

Damn, the stages look gorgeous, and Tira's look is def. an improvement over her SCIV appearance. Also, Voldo's codpiece is epic.

 

ALL of this looks GREAT! I can't wait to see more stages and characters!

The city stage is already my favorite. I actually hoped sciv had one

 

Voldo's costume makes me think of some kind of funky-ass pimp outfit with all the fur.

 

All of this is fantastic. The new stages look extremely awesome as well!

 

This is pretty solid. But I still want some Talim.
