    Scumbag-Snowstorm.

I wish my car worked so I could worry about things like whether or not I felt like going to TnT.

I was going to make a little sad face to go with the sentence above, but if you look at TnT, it kinda looks like a little anime crying sad face already.

    TnT

    Sigh.

I don't know if you guys have been following but the fighting game "community" has been enveloped in drama the past week stemming from Aris sexually harrassing Super Yan on Cross Assault. Aris then went on to say sexual harrassment was part of the culture. Marn then went on WNF last night and said more stupid shit. In the midst of this multiple gaming websites have hoped upon the gravy train of web traffic. Destructoid, BoingBoing, Kotaku, The Penny Arcade Report, etc.

What I find the most infuriating is the assumption that all parts of the community agree with Aris and Marn. I am proud that we can say without hesitation we are extremely accepting of everyone here in New England. The Soul Calibur scene at least.

This shit is going to get worse before it gets better guys, hang on.

Aris is just a piece of shit that is under the spell that he cannot do any harm whether it be in real life OR in the fgc.

heres an idea.....AVOID AVOIDING THE PUDDLE!!
  14. Nightblade is SUPERCHARGED!!

Despite the fact that the Fighting Game Community is all under one umbrella, I'm still pretty glad Aris isn't affiliated (publicly, at least) with Soul Calibur anymore. The Street Fighter community is so massive, I think they can take a little PR hit like this. I just wish some better reporting was done on it. Kotaku's article was atrociously biased and without objectivity. But whatever, it's easy to write provocative material without doing your research. I'm just disappointed - I already had low expectations of Kotaku.

Kotaku has never been a great source for quality journalism, I enjoyed the Giant Bomb and Penny Arcade write ups more.

Can someone link to one of these articles? I'm not sure I get what happened...are we all supposed to look bad in the FGC because one guy said some misogynistic shit?
  17. WhiteShadow [08] Mercenary

Aris is still associated with SC in a way, he runs streams every Sunday night for weeklies out of Watson's arcade. Also, I can't see the word provocative without thinking that it gets the people going.
