What: VGN Game Night 7/1

When: July 1, 2009 7:00 PM

We were finally able to reserve a room, but not on the usual day, Thursday. The next location for game night is at UH in the University Center - Bayou City (Rm 202) on the 2nd floor of the UC, from 7p - 12a. I intend to pick up a copy of Tiger Woods 10 and Punch Out for Wii, and I will try to bring a copy of Grid for this week. If anyone has any other racing titles they can bring let me know. We'll have Street Fighter IV on hand. We should have at least one or two copies of Killzone 2 on hand too. And we'll still have the usuals like Smash Bros. Brawl, Soul Calibur IV, Halo 3, Mario Kart Wii, Call of Duty 4 and 5 World at War, Gears of War 2, Left 4 Dead, and Tekken DR. Plus gamers have been bringing their games like Resident Evil 5, Skate 2, Little Big Planet, MK vs DC,and various other titles.

As for the console gaming, we will pretty much have the usual equipment which includes 2 or 3 PS3s, 4 or more 360s, at least 2 Wiis, 4 or 5 TVs and 2 movie/gaming projectors. I might be able to get Rock Band 2 w/ full band for this but if not I can at least bring Guitar Hero 4 w/ full band equipment if someone wants it. If you have a guitar for either that you can bring let us know.

GG's King ACE. I see that I'm the only one in Houston/Pasadena that want's to play this game at a competitive level. There were some pretty wierd match's but all in all it was fun. Peace homie.

I had KingAce over at my crib all day Sunday. Didn't leave till 11:30pm. And nobody showed. Best Buy showed for 10 minutes but that doesn't count. This dude plays competitive. Not just for fun. It's fun to play but there is seriousness involved. Especially when we take the time out of OUR BIGGER RESPONSIBILITIES to call out Texas and tell them that we goin to take over.

Like I said. I am the only one here in Pasadena, We are the Houston, That WANT'S to play this game at a competitive level. Not Just for Fun.

JD Elite: Bringing up the "real life responsibilities" on a video game forum is pretty lame. If you don't have time to play, you don't have time to tell people that you will beat them. I find all this pretty funny. Soul Calibur 4 is a game, a fun one at that. We do play at least once a week, we do text the only committed player in Pasadena but he happens to be busy at the time. Our fault? I dont think so, he just happen to be unavailable. As far as us taking this serious, in a way we dont because its a game. B Boy we all know you pretty good and for some time now, your a cool guy but stop taking this all to the heart whenever we dont play. Sometimes im not in the mood to play.
