QUICK UNLOCK GUIDE FOR TOURNAMENT ORGANIZERS

(aka just characters & stages)

1. Complete Story Mode
2. Obtain Kilik:

Either Reach Player Level 9, or defeat CPU Kilik in Legendary Souls or Arcade Asia Route.

3. Obtain Algol:

Either Reach Player Level 31, or defeat CPU Algol by one of the following based on your current Player Level:

Any Player Level:

Defeat Algol in Legendary Souls (recommended char/method for ease?) (A method by Koiyuki)

Player Level 12:

Defeat player TERAMOS in Quick Battle. Change Search Criteria to Area = Europe, Opponent Strength = Intermediate, and Battle Record Status = New Opponents First. Refresh the Search List till you find TERAMOS.

Player Level 17:

Play Arcade Extra Route, Difficulty Easy and choose Maxi. Algol should be your 4th or 5th opponent.

4. Obtain DLC character Dampierre (540MSP, $4.99 USPSN, 4.99 € EUROPSN)
5. If running a major tournament, skip to next step. Otherwise, create a standard height Devil Jin character.
6. If you care about stages, reach Player Level 25 to unlock them all.

QUICK GUIDE FOR 100%

1. Complete Story Mode
2. Raise Player Level to 99 (Level 53 for all Customization Equipment besides stickers/patterns/thumbnails)

Turbo Controller:

Set your OK button to B attack. Play Quick Battle as Mitsurugi (your fav char may work too, just test and see) against any low rank (E5) opponent. Hold down OK button and come back hours later. (estimated 15 - 20 hours to reach Level 99 like this.)

No Turbo Controller:

Keep fighting low rank (E5) opponents in Quick Battle and win as fast as you can, also using Critical Edges when possible. Spamming Aeon's 66K for Ring Outs is currently the fastest recommended method. (estimated 1000 wins and 40 hours)

Isn't there something you have to do unlock Legendary Souls mode? Anyone know what exactly that is? (probably beat Story Mode I take it?)

Also... about the upcoming DLC... there's a thread on GameSpot that suggests that the music packs are a separate DLC rather than included in the CAS parts DLCs like FightersGeneration originally reported. Also, that GameSpot thread suggests that there is free DLC on the way. Anyone got any more clarification about all this DLC stuff?

Yes, Raphael is available from the start. Very few chars have to be unlocked actually.

I wish. You might be thinking of when it was thought that save files (on the PS3 version anyway) were copyable. Anyway, I guess we can keep an ear out and hope there is some kind of unlock code afterall.
