I really need to rewrite the OP to make it clear that this is for scoping out your local scene. You don't need to be competitive. You just need to have the desire to play other human beings in person. Posting your PSN/XBL instead of your 8wayrun, etc, name makes it extremely unintuitive to contact you if I play the opposite console. And if you only wish to play online, people looking for local games will only be frustrated if they contact you and you're only willing to play online. This is why I flat-out refuse to put up PSN/XBL names.
