The Maxi player was Duragon from SD. I had played him online in SCIV, and I figured that out it was him after our first match lol.

watched the stream for the first time... man... you guys (in general) need to get more damage when you crouch highs/grabs. Waa~aay too many wimpy punishes going around.

You people need to respect Maxi.
It is NEVER a good idea to randomly crouch against Maxi.
It is NEVER a good idea to gamble with Maxi's 44B series. If you're not sure what beats the following options, DON'T GUESS 'CUZ IT'S NOT WORTH HALF YOUR LIFE.

You guys were eating 44B series all day due to the lack of respect. If you get tagged TWICE you're dead. All for what? A fancy JG that nobody correctly follows up on? A pathetic BB interrupt? It's not worth it.
Go to the lab and figure out what you can do with 100% success, just don't roll the dice against Maxi.


There were several other things I noticed that I won't go into because chances are nobody cares. I don't even know why I'm posting this... bored I suppose.

On a side note... anybody thinking about the MLG tourney?

Yeah well nobody has any Maxi experience outside of AquaSnake. I've only played a couple online sessions against Kvasir, Fworang and KrayzieCD online. I played Sophie in IV and I'm still not used to the change in risk/reward, it was ok to gamble then but not now I see. I need to fix my movement too, it's fast but dangerous, I get hit by random stuff. I'll still continue to JG though... If I keep practicing it, eventually I won't fuck it up and get hit. Better than not learning it at all. Yeah not the best idea to pull out inconsistent tech in grand finals but I was desperately searching for any extra edge I could get in the match. And if you don't gamble once in a while, you'll get guard crushed real quick. JG heals the gauge so...

Anyway, I'll be attending the casuals in SD on Friday. If any carpool's going down that'd be nice.

MLG Columbus sounds good, idk how much NorCal would hate me for skipping out on NCR though. But $16500 is no joke...

Signia I'm honestly surprised you fell for all that stuff what with the studying you always do on matchups and such. You let dude get away with so much stuff it wasn't even funny. 66B is supposed to be a risky move for him to use but you kept eating the followup LI B all damn day. I saw you attempting to JG at various times and you'd get hit because of it. Couple other things too that I won't go into but yeah. I'm sure you'll come back strong against Maxi after this but damn man......

Hmm so lets see. Go to MLG... chance at large monies. Or go to NCR and have a blasty. I got a job so the money is less of an issue. NCR looks kinda hype. Also this piece of AMAZING was created.
