Viola isn't a traditional SC character; it's really hard for her to play matchups as opposed to play around other people trying to play to her weaknesses and run her pressure game.
So this may have already been known, but I just realized that the jG animation negates the vacuum effect of violas CE. If you are outside of hit range of her CE, you can rapidly hit G and you won't get pulled in. Seems to be a safer option than trying to step after the CE animation

I shall go first! 33B (short hold) launches the opponent high enough to follow with 6AB, B+K BE but I never see anyone do it. Is there a reason?
Not worth it... As far as meter or damage? Maybe the risk is not worth the reward? I don't understand sorry. Here's the string I've been getting off. 33B - 6AB - B+K BE - 6A+B or 2A+B (whichever damages more) - 2B+K BE - AAB - 66B - 66A+BB
Darn...well it's still fun to wallop people just as they bounce off the ground from B+K BE. That's why I was wanting to put it into a bigger combo. Thanks for your patience!
its just not worth using the BE in a scenario which isnt guranteed, out of that if you wanna use BES for flash lol, go 33B, 6A+B charge to get floor stunish, 2B+KBe, 44ABE, 2K, 2B+K BE, AAB etc
plus if you wanna use B+K BE you can get it off Set, 4A+B Second hit B+K BE Ch 6AB B+K BE 6A+B BE timing needs to be tight to get this but usually certified get orb set behind B+K BE and use her kickback throw lol, cant think which one it is off top of my head
^ This I do often. It's a game changer for me. I follow with 66B - 66A+BB consistently. When I have gauge I try 6A+B - 2B+K BE BnB but I'm not as consistent with the timing of the 6A+B so I don't try it unless I'm ahead. In my experience A misses but the B tracks on the send in that combo (AB) so B+K BE can be landed. Not arguing about it's worth though since there is way more expertise here than what I have.
Is it worth doing 6A+B into 2B+K BE in combos? I feel like it's very easy to mess up the timing and opponent can escape it with ukemi.
yeah I mean if you wanna be a bit flash and extend the 3b aab combo, and cant do resets, on airborne_ 6A+B very slight charge creates the back slide stun, and 2B+K BE asap is guranteed im sure.
just out of curiosity does anyone else here, use LNC, aab 2A+B 2B+K BE aab 9K 2B+K BE, B+K CE, run up to him and aab etc
Yes but you will have to practice it will, the timing on the charge is quite strict. The reward, however, is very high. I don't find extending combos with 2A+B 2B+K BE worthy of my invaluable meter but 6A+B 2B+K BE definitely is. It carries well and the damage is ridiculous. 116+ damage from a 3B, yes please!
So, is Viola going to get nerfed? Just to keep us on our toes they should keep her on a 28 day cycle of alternating buffs and nerfs.
