I work at Nestle. We make hot pockets.

I hope to get out of there soon and start college but right now I'm too lazy.

Um i dont really have all that many talents beyond pressing buttons in a fighting game a bit better than a majority of people, so my options are limited. I'm hoping to become an electric engineer. I have problems comprehending things that don't follow a rigid structure of rules and considering the strict nature of engineering it fits well. I've also always found a sort of stark beauty in the layout of a lot of electronic equipment inner workings.
Originally I was interested in being in law enforcment but after actually looking into the system in depth I found far too many cracks and lines were too blurred on a lot of subjects for a set in stone answer for my taste.
In the next month or so i should be enrolling locally for preparation classes for a GED, after that it is off to college.

    OK...Here's the deal...
I'm still a student, but... This will be my last year at High School, that means that after that I'll go to university. I was supposed to study medicine, but I've changed my mind, as I was never sure if I could ever handle being a doctor. This year I decided and I am completely sure about the very thing I want to study. I want to study IT (Information Technology) and learn computer programming and everything else I need in order to become a game designer or something like this. >.<

can i read some of your articles?
  8. The_Landslide [12] Conqueror

It's a trade publication, so unless you actually work in travel it will be... pretty boring to read. Any fun or interesting things I've written have been for the print publications, but you can take a look at my press releases here : http://www.travelagentcentral.com/tac-author/c-elliott-mest

Honestly though, it doesn't take much to do press releases.

Also, I just started 3 weeks ago so there isn't much of me online.
  9. Madnis [10] Knight

I'll still take a look at em.. i can learn some things from em. hehehe..

but the fun question is, what do you hope to gain from this, and where do you plan on going from there?
  10. The_Landslide [12] Conqueror

I hope to gain a foot in the door, writing experience, and a paycheck. And I have no idea where I'm going from here, I'll probably be here for a while until something else comes up. I'm actually kind of comfortable at the moment.

    +1 chuck...

I'm currently a college student looking for a part time job. Particularly something to do with foreign languages, but I have to make sure that's what I want. Mechanic wasn't for me because I somehow lost interest in cars. But, learning foreign languages is quite fun. The ones I want to learn due to me being exposed to them a lot is: Japanese, Tagalog, and Spanish.

I could help you if you need someone to practice, I'm venezuelan.
  14. KokoYoshi [14] Master

Hmm that would be nice, but you don't have to.
  15. The_Landslide [12] Conqueror

It doesn't sound like you are doing too bad yourself. How goes graphic design? Is it something that you are still into?

I was interested in graphics for a while, but my artistic skills are just not good enough. I'm more of a mathematical thinker.
  17. Rekano :O

I work in a grocery store. 3rd shift, stocking shelves. I hate it, Very, very much.
  18. Madnis [10] Knight

heh.. graphic design was in my early career like around back in 2004-2005. Now, it's more for fun than anything else. But my goal up until that point was to be in animation as an animator. sure i was able to do some animation as a freelancer but nothing really stuck. wasn't until i came to korea that I actually got an employee position at a studio. that said, my goal now is to go into producing/directing/ creating shows. I need that Seth McFarlane money...

having said that, i still do illustrations every once in a while. I invite ya'll to check out my blog if you want to keep up with my art. I had a website, but i took it down a while ago cause i got tired of maintaining it... when i return stateside I might revisit that idea. for now, blogs suffice.

    studiomadnis.blogspot.com

I'm going to start putting up my animation soon so, please look forward to it..

shameless self promotion for the win!!!
