Bandai Namco has recently formed a licensing agreement with GameCo Inc to develop a SoulCalibur II gambling machine. It is claimed to be a "skill-based" game that remains similar to SoulCalibur II, but reduced to about 45-60 seconds. The game should be debuting in late 2017 according to the source links below. It was made public yesterday by Bandai Namco that Masaya Nakamura had deceased. Without his guidance and vision for Namco, we wouldn't be able to enjoy the greatest fighting game series of all time.

We are very sad to hear of this news and we hope the best for his family and friends. The legend will never die.

Bandai Namco is partnering with Orchestral Memories to perform their music live on February 4th in Paris, France. If you don't know who Orchestral Memories is, they are a live symphonic orchestra that perform video game music and are made up of about 80+ musicians.

You can expect to hear songs from Dark Souls, Tales of, TEKKEN, SoulCalibur, God Eater, Ace Combat and more. Go Shiina who is a music composer at BNES will be present at the event as well. Click here for ticketing information...

Recently, Bandai Namco has announced that they are adding a new Pachinko Slots game featuring SoulCalibur characters. This will be available to go alongside their Tekken and God Eater machines. Here is the trailer for the newest SoulCalibur game. The confirmed characters for the game are Nightmare, Sophitia, Patroklos, and Pyrrha.

Little Big Planet 3 is a puzzle-platformer video game on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The game will be adding a BNES Costume Pack next month for purchase which will include costumes from Dark Souls 3 and SoulCalibur 5. The only confirmed sackfolk cosplays are for Voldo and Cervantes. Today, the SoulCalibur twitter has tweeted out that we can buy some EXCLUSIVE SoulCalibur clothing and bags. Currently, all of the merchandise is available on their European store only, so foreigners will have a trickier time with payment methods (PayPal is accepted). Passion Republic is a company that creates concept arts for popular video games such as Dark Souls, Mortal Kombat X, and Batman Arkham Knight. You can see some of their pieces on their website which will be linked at the bottom. If you own Mortal Kombat X, then you may have noticed that some of these concept arts are featured as unlockables in the Krypt.

As most of you probably know by now, the "BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Fighting Games 2016" panel has recently taken place at San Diego Comic-Con. There was no stream for this event, but thanks to Twitter we have some information about what was discussed. Below you can see the tweets from a twitter user who was present at the event.

I currently have no other details from this panel, but if you were present at the event, then feel free to post in the comments and I will add it to the OP. The takeaway is that if you want a new SoulCalibur, then you should make sure to spam the SoulCalibur Facebook group to express your interest.
