SCV Tira Revealed!

Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it.

I half-assed that recoloring though, and its easy to tell if you look in the right places.
The blue looks nice on her clothes; her hair is a bit shaky but not to worry; you did a fine job!

The difference between the models and the artwork, is anotomy and physics. In all the artwork the anotomy is slightly exaggerated, but the 3d modeler has to go for realistic body types.

In the artwork she can't pick that weapon up, it's freaking huge.

Only thing i wish was that they got rid of the ponytails and kept her with the short hair from this artwork... She has MORE sex appeal with short hair. Hopefully her 2p comes with the short hair version of the ponytails.

O yea. I can tell you are going to masturbate to this photo sooner or later...LOL!

Short hair is hot, but Tira is like the Peter Pan of bitch neverland. So sorry but the pigtails are a must, I really hope she has her wonky hair from iv, love it.

I'm not hating, but her costume seems like a symplified version of her SC4 second alt. Her SC4 first costume had so much more detail... and how come her boobs in the artwork are 2x bigger then they are in the game? I had hoped for the opposite there..

1: Her costume is a blend of her SCIV alt and her SCIII default. It's not a "simplified version". "More revealing" would be a better term to describe it.

2: The artwork uses elements of exaggeration for aesthetic in the 2D illustrations. The 3D renders are more realistic in terms of proportion. This applies to all the work of Namco's recent games (Tekken and Soul Calibur). It's been this way since SC III and Tekken 4. The character illustrations are never 100% with the 3D models. Exaggerations are used in the 2D illustrations for stylistic purposes.

1. I think thats pretty obvious. Hover it could have had more designs, her SC4 costume had extra things like a heard bag or whatever that is.
2. Nope, Ivy still has the same body as she does in 2D art, just not the face.

What I said still applies. Things that work in 2D do not work in 3D and vice versa. This is because 3D modeling and 2D illustration and rendering have different rules or tricks that must be followed to reach the desired effect or results.

Exactly how then? Why is it "impossible"

Those aren't really pigtails, well, they don't really look like pigtails to me, too big and braided and crazy :P Everyone has their own tastes, personally I prefer long hair to short hair :P

Has she lost her feathers? She had them in her SC3 and SC4 costumes, the bird motif was apparently an important part of her design (hence the raven) but seems like it's gone from her new outfit.

Artwork usually gives characters bigger boobs. She looks like a D cup in the art but like a B-C cup in the game, the costumes and angles also help make them look bigger or smaller :P I always got the feeling that she had bigger boobs with her SC4 outfit than in her undies :P

Tira is nicer being more revealing...her bewbs have increased in size consequently.

Considering how much everybody is saying she looks more revealing now...wait, what was the title again? kthxbyelol.

I'm so happy to see that Tira is returning! Having anyone else wield that ring blade would be blasphemous. I'm really interested to read her bio when it's posted on the Facebook/Namco site, because I'm curious about her storyline. Glad that she really wasn't devoured, as shown in Nightmare's ending.

Daishi also mentioned in a tweet that developing Tira is like raising a child. This gives me confidence that she is gonna be even better than before, as she deserves to be.

I hope she impacts the story a lot more then she used to, in SC3 she was on encounter with almost everyone. I hope since Pyrra is the focus with her brother, that what she did to pyrra is shown or explained out, I mean now, tira's attention level and story involvement should be around similar to Harley quin's in Arkham Asylum now.

Costume wise she needs more featers and maybe a small bird head insignia somewhere. I had hoped they would give her more relations with the crow, like have some clothing accessories that are black bird parts.
