[Feb 18, 2012] GVN Winter Brawl VI - Evo 2012 Qualifier (Philadelphia, PA)

NO online names during online registration. You can do that at the registration desk when you are confirming your name.

Now hurry up players you have til 11:59pm tonight to register online or you'll have to pay at the door.

@ Malice thank u!

I just registered. As usual us visitors need someone to pick us up from the China town bus. Last thing i want is to be stuck with a temp phone out in Philly. So Malice, Sporko, or Khent if you wouldn't mind picking me up sometime during Friday night (dont get off work till 6pm) can one of let me know so I can pm you my temp #. My main # is currently off.

@Jaxel: k but if I can ultimately use the controller at the event I'm cool.

Hey if you got a hotel room and will be doing casuals let me know please. Im trying to play as much as I can.

I just recently started playing on pad, so I'm not used to these crazy "people are retarded" pad rules (though, I do understand them). What can I do to play on a pad at this tournament (and other tournaments), or should I just go back to playing on stick?

Not sure if I can come to this anymore. Is there a spectator fee? I'm not allowed to drive late right now, so my fiancee would have to bring me.

Spectator fee is $20.

You can still use your pad for Winter Brawl. Other tournaments you will have to use something wired or just use a stick if they decide to ban wireless controllers.

If you do not register online, are you only able to sign up at 9 am? Has the schedule of the events been released yet? I really need to know.

Hi guys im new! Welp im from MKU and im 13 years old. I used to peek by here just to see some upcoming tournaments for sc4 but none caught my eye until sc5. Now im a really good viola player and someone named omegadxr i think, not sure recommended i should sign up and said he was also going to winter brawl. So i will be there! Dont be surprised when yo usee a little kid you know, killing >_>

After you plug the controller in, you must wait 2-3 seconds for it to change the sync relationship. Most people don't, they plug it in, press the home button immediately, and its still sync'd to a different console, even though its plugged into another. People are stupid.
Fuck you. Why should it be unreasonable for someone to assume that clicking disconnect controller actually disconnects the controller?

The first thing on my mind after turning off the controller isn't, "Oh yeah, PS3 secretly keeps the connection on even after I disconnect. Dumbass."

I'm coming from NYC on the Cinatown Bus as well, the 6:30pm (departure) one to be exact. If anyone else is doing the same thing, perhaps we could split cab fare. I only have one other person coming with me. Just a heads up.

looks like i'll be able to make this. let me know if anyone has a room and i'll split the cost. see you guys!

Because there is nothing that says "disconnect" controller?
Don't play semantics with me. I'm the Juggernaut, bitch.
