[Arizona] AZ and friends!

I appreciate it =D

I seem to have a curse too. I always lose to the same person twice. Let's hope it's not that way at fighters arena.

Also, we should set up casuals or a free tourney sometime. I think I'm considering changing my main. But I can't say who it'll be, because apparently no information is safe on these forums. People routinely check the AZ thread. We're being watched... D= Lol

Ahaha, I'm fine for casuals.

I'll probably stick to Viola even for them, though. Regardless of the ban or not.

You should. Honestly, she's only broken because of her infinite and ToD combos. But without those she's relatively balanced. If you're playing someone who knows a lot about Viola, it takes some really strategic set ups to do well with her.

Even without playing you in Vegas, I'd assume it'd be Viola because you were posting rather heavily in her SA for a cuple of days. Either way, you shouldn't feel that you need to catch people offguard...because then it seems like you're underestimating their skill and your own. Still, to each his own.

P.S. I think I'm the only prson who routinely checks the active regional threads and I pretty much already have the lowdown on errbody so don't b scurred.

Nah, it was mostly a joke because I know people like to watch this thread. Plus, I wouldn't change my main right before fighters arena. Changing my main to Viola would be like, the opposite of catching people offguard since there's already 2 other Viola's XD.

And I did make 3 or 4 posts in the Viola SA. But that was just to prove that she has some broken aspects to her. She is my secondary though, but I've been wary about using her in a tournament setting.

Anyway, Destin, that won't happen again.
 
so i dont wanna sound like a beating a dead horse here but any other suggestions for days we can do casuals etc ?
 
Desert Plains Folks! SBO Quals for SC5 is next week in SoCal. Could we get some reps for AZ and around to show up? Winner gets a trip to Japan for SBO. Hope yall can make it?

I'm down to go if someone else is willing to drive. Last weekend I drove to San Diego for Comic-Con and the week before I drove to Vegas. I'd rather not drive 5+ hours three weekends in a row.

Not that I know of, but enough of us live close to Glendale/Phoenix that you should be able to easily get a ride.

thanks I live in Peoria at Rock Canyon Apartments but since I moved here about a month ago from Georgia Idk where to play we had a college scene and sometimes Atlanta would do a tournament and you'd have like Shinji ATL Killa6 RTD Etc. show up for some really dang good matches so I'm trying to figure out where that kind of place is over here in Phoenix (BTW love your quote of Akuma's in SF Alpha Movie :p, Akuma's my main in SF)

I could def drive this time, if you're fine with my car (I'd be fine with driving yours too, but I know how you feel about that, hahah).

The problem is, I'm not sure if I'll go. I want to go just to see how I'll do, but if I actually qualify for SBO, I likely won't have enough money to go to that. Plus, both those MLG controllers we have don't work anymore =[

Our top players are on par with the ATL players. However, you've come at a bad time. We have a tournament at the end of this month, but I don't really play much anymore and I know kPc is shifting his focus to Tekken. I think Jowuh and Kinetic may be the only two left that are still actively playing.

It's not a big deal to me. If we go we go, if we don't, we don't. I haven't even touched SC5 since Evo and I have no plans to travel to any other out of state SC tournaments.

Also, I'd contact MarkMan about your controllers. They're pretty new right? Maybe he can get you hooked up since they're pretty expensive and you have two non-working controllers.

well if y'all do any at the college or locally then let me know I'll hop on it. Since I just moved here i haven't found a job yet so the cheaper the better atm lol.
