What say you?

So Dino are you free to play some SC games next week?

Mandritti cool. Aug 31 seem like a nice day for SC.

Yo, I have been playing so much SCII recently. It is still crazy fun for a classic game. Does anyone want to play some SC2 here?
If you want a freedom and variety game play, it is the best in SC series. Look at those awesome long move lists. XD

THOSE LONG MOVE LISTS WILL DROP DOWN TO 10 MOVES WHEN YOU HAVE TO PLAY SERIOUSLY.
That's true. It explains how fun SC2 is and why SC2 is the most popular game in the series.

Easy learning, hard to master is the iconic of SC2.

Every characters has 10 spammable powerful moves. Even you are a new comer, you can become a solid player after one month. After that, it is very hard for the players to reach next level in that time. Since there is no a good training mode and online, IMO, a lot of moves, setup and combo hadn't been discovered. (I have just found one new combo for 3 weeks testing. Thanks to the crappy training mode.)

Don't just focus on one and few characters (X) in SC2. Other characters in SC2 have more variety than SC345 such as Yunsung, Nightmare, Kilik, Mina, Taki, Talim, Raphael and so on. Do you know how boring Yunsung, Nightmare, Talim & Rapheal in SC34? Do you know how boring Xiba in SC5 and Mina in SC4 compare to SC2's Kilik & Mina? Those characters have more useful moves in SC2 in total.

Even there are 10 spammable moves, it doesn't mean all leftover are useless. Every moves still have their own property and secret usage. You have to know that, most of players were new comer in SC2 (90% of community) on that time. They knew nothing, but just complaining. Of course, I was one of them. I was complaining about Yunsung's AA on hit is 0 frame advantage. Now I realized it is a very good move. Yea, I was wrong. Also, I had the same thought of yours. But after I have played SC12345, I realized SC2 is a very good game.

Even there are more useless moves in SC2, after subtracting those useless moves, SC2 still have the same amount of useful moves of SC345 or more. See Aris' Voldo's video, he showed a good variety Voldo and make it work and win and being complicated and master it. That guy is crazy. You know that...... most of good SC2 players were from SC1. They picked it up faster and knew most of moves' secret usage.

Sticking with 10 moves or not, that still up to the players. Master it or not, the gap between them is not that huge. However, SC2 is a player dependence game, not characters. It explains how fun SC2 is and why SC2 is the most popular game in the series.

(Don't get me wrong. SC5 is a solid game too, but it is a different game with a very different game play mechanic.)

SILENTWALL: WHEN THE BEST OF THE BEST PLAYERS START SPAMMING SC2'S GREATEST MOVES, THEY WILL TAKE AWAY YOUR VARIETY WHEN YOU PLAY THEM. HIGH LEVEL PLAY IN SC2 IS BAD COMPARED TO SC5. ALSO, SIDESTEP STEPS EVERYTHING IN SC2. IT'S NOT WELL-DESIGNED. BUT SC2 IS STILL FUN CASUALLY.

MoneyMuffins, I knew that already. And I said "I had the same thought of yours." This is a common knowledge of SC2. However, my message is not to compare to SC5.
My message is that SC2 is fun and the most popular game in the series. 10 spammable moves or not. It doesn't matter. Welcome to join.
I'm not trying to convince everyone.

Again,
Hey guys, if you want freedom or variety (argument) game play, let's play it.
PM me to arrange the time. hahaha...

That reminds me isn't there 4 version of SC2, A B C and D. I would think SC2 HD would either use the first or last versions. We'll find out once its released or if Namco provides that information.

Franman, SC3 is crap, but SC3 AE version sounds good and this roster list is cool. If Setsuka is not overpower, I will like to give it a try. However, no one knows that if the character balance is good or not in this version.

Eli123, I think the US version of SC2 is the best. However, I haven't tried the europeon version. =) Just a bias.

Edited:
Franman, come to take the SC2 Bandwagon. SC2's Cerventes' BT Cancel is fun. (You can spam it like no tomorrow.)

not everyone is fortunate to have AE especially version C which is the latest version. We were fortunate to have version B but not C and not all players play with arcade sticks. I'm curious to unravel version C that Namco so put alot of effort into balancing which is why I'm more hyped for that game.

Letting you know I -might not- be at your place 31 Aug. I'm still hoping to, but the weekend just got complicated for me. Nothing open that week, either.
I'm not eager for all this SC2 stuff. My favorite characters being good? Fuck that noise.
