Hey guys. So, after looking at all the updates and releases they have been doing for Tekken, DOA, SF, Smash, Lost Swords, etc, I figured that it's about time WE (the main SCV make) get something as well. They have time to create swimsuits and thongs for Pyrrha, they should have time to put DLC characters or patches as well.

With that said, I would like to get the entirety of what's known as the Soulcalibur community and tweet to @hoshino_calibur, @Harada_TEKKEN, @JKartje or Namco for a patch, update, or DLC to the mainstream game. We deserve some support as well. I know the French, German, and Japanese community are willing to support this too once this "movement" gets started. You can tweet for a whole new game if you want, the point of this is to speak up for something, unless you're all ok with letting Lost Swords have everything.

Namco can ignore a few people, even a handful, but they can't ignore an entire community across countries reaching out to them for this. Will you guys support this?

I was just thinking about Jimbo's time warp thingy and its pretty interesting.

Patrokolos could step into the vortex that Soul Edge and Soul Calibur creates, travels back in time to warn Sophitia and Cassandra about the upcoming fate of the Alexandra family.

Then he probably agrees to help investigate Sophie's abducted daughter...

Feels like a Dragon Ball Z episode where Trunks travels back in time to warn Goku and friends of the upcoming threat; and let's not forget the terminator movie series.

Soul Calibur 6: Fight for the future

Waaaat? I was around for the life of sc2. The tournaments back then were no bigger than they are today. We still have a healthy competitive player base so I don't see how its dead by any standards.

Nah I would say they were bigger. Simply because there were more active players then there are now. Can't forget that a lot of the SC2 players came from tekken players simply because tekken 4 was absolute crap. I think that was the height if sc2's popularity. Once tekken 5 came, a lot of those players left to go play that. The scene then kind of just faded out. I know sc5 was at final round this year but after the tourney ended I didn't see anybody playing it. Granted I didn't spend the whole day there, but while I was, I saw no one there playing casuals or money matches. I can't speak on evo since I wasn't there. But I remember back in sc2 days, even when the game wasn't running tournies, people were still playin. I'm sayin ever since sc3 maybe sc4 people got hype for a little bit, then it just fell off. Same with sc5. You're saying there's a scene for it, but I don't see it. Anyone in Va or atlanta playin this game? I don't know, but I'm not hearing about monthly's or hell even casual get togethers. I guess online fucked all that up? I mean for real, people I meet and talk with they play tekken, doa, or street fighter. But mention soul calibur and they hush up and give you a deer in the headlights look. Hell I met more persona and skull girls players than hard soul calibur players. That's why I'm like this scene was dead. And I was searching hard at final round too. All I saw was killer instinct. And naruto. Fuckin naruto. Come on bruh. FUCKIN NARUTO. No soul. Just dattebayo.

I'm not really sure what you're talking about. At least on the East Coast, Soul Calibur has been thriving for the past 2 and a half years, soon to be 3. I've gone to Summer Jam, NEC, Winter Brawl, and ECT multiple times. There is definitely a SC scene still, and it's pretty big, too. The scene definitely is not fading out or dead.

When you talked about Final Round, keep in mind that it is only one of the East Coasts tournaments. Plus, at all the tournaments I've been to, people play casuals all the times in the rooms. The reason you didn't see anyone playing was probably because the setups needed to be used for other games or they had to pack up their setups.

I wasn't competitive during the SC2 days, but you're surely underestimating SC5's scene and insulting anyone who attends these tournaments to support their favorite game by saying they're 'fading out'. And even if the SC2 scene was bigger than the scene of today, it would be wrong to call the competitive community dead or that they're fading out.

Not sure what people you're meeting. No one hushes up or give me a confused look if I mention SC.

I don´t know about a SCVI petition... Namco should REALLY! take more time so that the next SC installment won´t be a good but rushed game like SCV. I would rather prefer a SC3 arcade HD Online edition to be released next year and the new/next SC, or just call it SC6, to be released in the second half of 2016. Peace out.

A handful of us has tweeted to Hoshino, Harada, and/or the community manager for Namco. But before we even started, people were already tweeting to them for SCV updates or SC6, just not as many as now. So, I'm sure they know what's up

well shit. Where it at? I'm all over atlanta, where it at? oh wait. Let me check match finder...

I'm the naysayer here. I've said it once, I'll say it again. Soul Calibur never lasts. It's a blip in the scene and is hype when it first comes out. Then fizzles to nothing in a matter of months. The last great one was SC2. hell even SC3 lasted a bit. but 4 and 5? nah. Let Namco make a new game with the "spirit" of soul calibur.
See how the problem here isn't that Soul Calibur isn't in need of a legitimate sequel, it's that they've made a couple not so great games... even though SCV was decent in my opinion... basically they just need to make more stuff with the game modes the older ones had and seriously expand their lore to hook people in rather than only relying on the battle between Siegfried and Nightmare to draw people in.

Ok, hi what's up.

I currently run a SC blog on Tumblr and it has about 680 followers on it so far. So if there's like anything exact that should be said verbatim, let me know so I can post it. And also a list of all people involved, cuz I forgot the Community Manager's twitter.

Just ask for them to support our petition by tweeting to all three @hoshino_calibur @Harada_TEKKEN, and @JKartje for a new SC game or an update to SCV. JKartje is the community manager
