Here's a question:

If you had to select one previous game's costumes available for CAS, which one? Its all or nothing though, i dont mean picking favorites from each game. Or another way to ask this is which game had the best costume selections?

I think SC3 had the best selection. I wouldnt pinpoint anything in particular, but there were fewer costumes that i hated.
The 1P i'm more attached are:
Ivy, Mitsurugi, Yoshimitsu, Elyssium and Kilik from V
Sigfried, Lizardman, Raphael, Astaroth and Nightmare from IV
Zasalamel and Tira from III

Siegfrieds wall combos truly are something else. Half the bar, just like that, with simple stuff. ~130 damage with a super finisher. ~150 soul charged. They aren't even that hard to pull off during matches. People must be shaking their heads.

Edit: ~130 even without super finisher, non SC.

When not playing, I still think about it all time, this game is addictive as hell.

You and me both. Even though I first started the series with Soul Blade, SC6 is the first game where I started taking the competitive side seriously. When I think about it I'm reminding myself little by little the commands for a character I'm training with, bite sized flowcharts to implanted into muscle memory. It's going to take me a long time to get familiar with all the characters but I know it will be worth it as it's already feels really rewarding with some I've already become decent with.

Damn man, RE gives way too much meter. I've ran into a couple of people the other day, Literally all they do is RE and super with Zas. And Zas super is beyond fucking retarded.

Another tourney is on.

EDIT:

Well, that was the most corporate tournament I've seen for SC6. :s

Okay so I've got a real problem, a big area of weakness I need help in, for reals.

I can't seem to block lows from OTG online. Offline it's no problem. I set the training dummy with Sophitia's 1K after a knockdown move and I can block it no problem, but online I can't. Is it the lag? I'm getting tagged with techable lows for example Mina's 1B and NM's 1A. Same issue. I can do it in training but online it doesn't work.

My opponents quickly realize this and take advantage. It's like I have no Oki defense online or something. I just want to be able to get up and block a low that isn't supposed to be an actual combo.

Please help!

Are more CAS voices too much to hope for in the DLC packs? They get old so fast, and some of them are amazingly stupid. "You realize what you have when it's gone" <--- what the hell is that? If it's gone, I sure don't have it. I'd rather lose on purpose than to end with a victory phrase like that.

or sexy costumes I and II

LOL, will admit that the cowgirl outfit does give me some good ideas for making a tribe/Amazonian girl or making a vagabond/thief type of character. I also like the nurse and cop's(?) boots. The guy's top also gives me some idea's, too. Still, I would prefer 15th century clothing to modern ones for sure.

Happened to me as well. So far, the "work-around" I've found is, whenever I'm being comboed, I make a choice to either block, crouch-block, or tech before the combo is even finished. It is in NO WAY a solution, given you can't use it on reaction, but it does work if your opponent is used to go for lows after knocking you down. And yes, it's the lag. I've played both console versions and same shit on both. Not sure about PC though, but assuming it is lag/netcode, I'm pretty sure the issue is there as well. Like I said, not a solution, but rather a work-around for such scenarios. Not happy AT ALL with it.

Ikr? I get mad when I can see a low from a mile away but can't seem to do anything about it. So far I've tried what you said on my last online match. Since people like to go for lows after a KD, I anticipated it, got the block and the punish that followed. Thanks mate!

Reminds me of a Cervantes player I fought that basically tried to do RE whenever he got a chance just so he can build up his Soul Charge. It threw me off at first but I caught on to his gameplan.

It's probably a different way of saying "you don't know what you have until it's gone"

Just as a pedantic note the full quote is "You only realize what you have once it's gone"
The "only" adds all the meaning. Sorry if I'm coming off as a bit of pedantic twat
Anyway, the worst offender is the voice that literally says thank you during a CE. WHY IS THAT EVEN A VOICE LINE?!
