When S2 comes out you data miners know what to do 😉

Besides Nighttime Master Swordsman’s Cave and possibly Haohmaru’s stage, what might the other stages be?

I’m guessing a lava version of the Kunpateku Shrine and hopefully a less ruined version of Orstreinsburg.

I can't remember the name, but I would like Lizardman's stage from SCIII to come back. That stage always left a good impression on me.

But that doesn't change the underlying fact that I'd like to make more creations without dropping existing designs--at least on the one platform where I have everything unlocked, which (in terms of ease of back-up and swap-outs) is unfortunately not the PC version.
You can use @FluffyQuack's backup and restore / share utility to keep designs and bring them back later on PC.
Even without FQ's time-saving utility, I'd have no problem as a technical matter with pulling and archiving the characters. The problem is, even though I bought the game on multiple systems (partly as an effort of support for the game and partly to have access to the game on the multiple systems friends play on) for the purposes of having plentiful and reliable ranked play, PC is not the platform that one ends up playing the most on, and I'm just not going to devote the dozens of hours necessary to unlocking all of the content gain on that separate platform. Arguably I could have started unlocking content on the PC for ease of back-up, but then I would not have been able to use creations (as I am at times inclined to do) for online play with friends on the consoles they mostly use for both quasi-casual play and training.

And anyway, beyond our little hardcore and more-technically-able-on-average corner of the community, what do players do when they exceed the 100 slots and they either do not own the game on PC or lack the knowledge to back-up such content? Considering that the 100 slots is (by and large) a pretty arbitrary number--in the sense that an increase would have only a trivial effect on the game's over-all on-drive size--and considering that there is probably a statistically relevant number of people who filled up those slots ages ago, even among those who play on console and not PC, I think an increase would probably be welcome. Unfortunately, despite the ease with which such a change could certainly be made, it's never going to be a high-profile ask from the community at large, so I expect it will fall between the cracks and the number will stay at 100, which is a number that has some aesthetic appeal to designers, afterall. But I think it's a pity.

Silk Road Ruin. I agree, a great stage--but then stage design (once one of the standout features of the franchise) arguably hit it's zenith in that game (or at least over the SCIII-IV period).
