In SCIV, you could hold G and a direction instead of tapping, and you would ukemi automatically. Tapping was only needed for Just Ukemi. (SCIII and previous was "before my time".)

Because many players would hold guard and a direction unconsciously, tech traps were really easy to land on the general populace. Amy 3B, 3BA all day.

Was ukemi different in the other SC's? It feels different.
