One point of criticism though... The ~ is usually reserved for "Delayed Inputs". If you are considering an "Immediately After" input, we use the slide input example. For instance, aB would be a quick slide between A and B. Notice that the "a" is lowercase, because its de-emphasized. Some people also use * as the "or" input.
