another thing that works wonders is Jollys B+K.... eats most of Viola's pokes. And if they AAB or BBB the final B will trigger Grim Reaper for a nice chunk of dmg. And against 44A BE, GS 44A can escape it after blocking first orb (and does not burn meter)
Also... I have never seen him do a 4AA BE combo... which is odd... but don't be afraid of those. One last thing... if in gloomy, 3B and 3A have TC properties and can go below orb hit of AAB... might work with BBB... not sure.
Hope that helps! :P
P.S. I also play Viola... if you are trying to...
I have major hints for you then... He stopped playing me because I learned his patterns.
after 2B at close range 90% of the times he does WS B. Step and punish. If you hang out at long-mid range walking to any side he will do one of two things with the orb. 2A+B and if you rush in he'll do 8...
Nice Find!!!! :D need to test it out asap.
Btw, I'm trying to get better with Viola/Tira... If you (or anyone) want to add me my psn is alexiserf (Could be good practice for SCR). I hate ranked matches and am always looking for SCV friends :P
Have you found any string that knockdowns the opponent and leaves them at a distance where Updraft K hits low if they wake up? If not I'm too curious... I'll investigate this evening.
Scrubs for some reason love to think Tira (or any character that trashes them around) is God Tier.
I like how you Updraft after 66AA in JS; I'll try that out ;)
Thanks for the tips everyone! After a while in training mode I noticed that you can step many of her stuff to the right. And also you can interrupt her 4A+B B and her 22B BBB with Tira's 4K if first hit was blocked. I guess I'll go back to training to try out both of your suggestions.
Thanks!
I need help against Ivy. She has a LOT of moves that do a little sidestep like her 3B and 214B. Smart opponents abuse moves like these since they push you back (so you can't punish) and 214B even TC. Tira's horizontals are either slow and high or short-ranged/unsafe.
Whenever Ivy plays the...
