Someone got really defensive... Sure, it's an ok tactic. It's usually good to test your opponents and see what they do against certain strings, but just know that some people will not fall for it. This is not a tech trap, btw.

Not many people know this or they forget. I use it near walls/edges and follow-up with 6BBB, hoping for a counter hit.

66B (near edge but no ring out) ->3B BE for ring out. Empty brave edge Q flip, they have to be on the edge, and it can't be too much of an angle. Kind of risky since you will be falling out too, but they will fall first.
