  • So good to be playing SC after a long hiatus; losing just boils my blood asking for more.
Critiques come from helpers; Bashes come from haters.

How much you care depends on the situation such as in the forums I just toss in my 2 cents. In a coaching situation more care is taken in; sometimes push is good but if you push too far then that person will likely crumble and fall; at that moment you got to cut them some slack. If your coaching methods don't work then change your strategy, but it doesn't always involve tone; just the angle you're approaching at.

Not just, I've already mentioned that in addition to the type of person (which you were claiming) situation or environment factors in. But in general harsh critiques can be beneficial. And for the bashers, just ignore them, they don't contribute to anything beneficial.
Being a harshly criticed has its merits; some times you need the push to become better; start by not taking things personally.
If you want something done, do it yourself; stop constantly bitching about it.

Ya it seems all these ppl do in this forum is talk, bitch, whine and complain all which doesn't do a damn thing; what's the point of repeating stuff if it isn't effective at all. I know I am complaining about them doing these things and it probably doesn't stop them, the least I could do is say my piece once or a few times and give them something to think about and walk away doing something productive in my life.

First, sorry for the loss. I wouldn't say that you feeling depressed about that would make you a "victim", but to each their own. Different people deal with loss differently.

Second, the only thing I see people whining about is not seeing SC6 trailers at *insert game convention here* They're only making themselves sad, lol. I wish I knew how to access the coding for SC5 or something. A patch would breathe some life into it until SC6 is actually announced

All he has to do is pay the $30 debt. He has PayPal, he knows Eli's mobile number and he can pay through there whether Eli has PayPal or not. He is making it hard on himself and continues to make lame excuses not to pay.

Didn't he already try to pay it a long time ago?

Yes, but even though you still got to respect the agreement. Unfortunately Eli was very busy with his studies and work so communication was a problem. If I were OOF, I would pay using the option suggested above as a last resort despite whether Eli approves it or not. That way he has a proof of transcript that he has paid.
Ppl who don't pay after losing a Money Match deserve to be blacklisted and don't deserve to run any tournaments until their debt is paid.
A community does not support a scumbag; they can still be friends, but even good friends would tell a scumbag to do the right thing.

Then the scumbag shall remain blacklisted while he/she finds a new audience to turn to.

Locally I have a guy who still whines about me breaking up an attempted theft of a modded PS2 back in SC2's heyday. Don't get why he's tolerated.

Because ppl are too forgiving; that's the problem.
