I haven't played SC5 for ages and hadn't really been following the SC6 buildup etc, so first impressions on getting into SC6 is that I have no idea what I'm doing any more, but after that I really miss aB+K after launching, it just felt really satisfying for some reason
Ah ok, I never really got into tekken so didn't pick up on that.
I would come to Edge Master but it's the day after my wedding, suspect my wife-to-be would be somewhat unimpressed if we took a detour on our honeymoon to play SC :)
Nope I live in the UK, EVO's a bit of a trek...
Will play around with this, though I always iMCF RCC 3B etc. after a:B+K CH anyway.
Sounds completely broken :)
How come you consider a:B+K optional? Even just using it on its own, it sets up a big damage on CH (though I guess it's quite hard to get a CH with it), and then you can use it after every launcher to set up the various unblockables or 22A+B. Maybe I overuse it... I'll do it after every 3B, to...
I kinda like MED mixups vs Voldo's BS, as it puts you in front of him again. Obviously it's pretty unsafe so you wouldn't want to overdo it, but used sparingly it can be pretty good if they're not quick to realise you'll teleport to "behind" them... I've had a few voldos start stepping...
http://evo2012.s3.amazonaws.com/brackets/sc5_finals.html This says that Keev is still in... what's gone wrong?
[Edit: Blah sorry, see someone has already pointed this out.]
Good to see some Yoshi at evo. The timing wasn't great for us Europeans, but I managed to catch all of the pool play and some of the elimination bracket... saw a couple of good games from Signia, and a couple of other Yoshis that I can't remember who they were.
Is that double flea action at the end set up, or did it happen in an actual game? I've played Dr0ndeh a few times online, it never went like that... I want more madness in my games :)
While we're on the subject of DNK whiffs... is there a rule as to when 3B is guaranteed after DNK? Sometimes I get caught out by my 3B after DNK being blocked, and it's a really annoying way to throw a round. I know that if you're finishing a wall combo with something like 3B a:B+K DNK you don't...
