1. It's a great momentum based character. Insane oki, good range, good mix ups, good flexibility, good lows, good pokes.
2. His fastest moves are not that fast and his punishment game seems to be lacking a bit. His SC may be very good, I've got a tons of ideas to exploit SC mode but it's not...
You just need to be patient, whiff punish his whiffs spams at long range if you can : iFC 3A+B, CR K.
And step or dash guard a lot.
Using force block moves is a must indeed.
Specificity ? Whut ? What do you mean? Voldo can step JG in BS, that's special enough.
2A+B is pretty good. Underated low.
Amazing range, and a good antistep tool, it's a kind of a "you won't move" kind of move.
Night won't be able to punish it all the time, but if he blocks at close/close-mid range he has WS B punish for good damage so be carefull.
Against Night, I usually...
Hey, from what I can see (the characters you quoted) you have problems with zoning MUs or character that will zone you. Dash JG, staying safe, stay patient and you'll do it.
Mitsu :
Pretty straightforward MU.
It's mostly a zoning battle, he has better close range game but your damage and JG...
Step is not something that Voldo has a hard time dealing with. Front Voldo is a bit weaker though, but that's only if you don't know the setups where some tools will get stepped (mostly when you blocked a -6 or -8 move you can have some tools getting stepped - and dash 2A kills all or just plain...
@KAMAN
Ivy is a good MU for Voldo.
She's just plain boring to fight against though, since the best solution is to play passive and let her whiff. If you try to be agressive she'll be able to setup her damage either with backstep or 3B.
She has bad whiffpunish and her punishment is not that...
Well you could say he's a very complete character. There is always a domain he 'll be stronger than an other character and you'll be able to capitalize on that. He doesn't have a lot of weaknesses and the risk / reward is most of the time supidly low.
Voldo is a complete nightmare to fight...
The Natsu vs Voldo is pretty funny, you really need to learn the range of your tools and Natsus.
