  • Does anyone else feel that online game play gives a "certain group" of players too much power? Sigh* The reasons we miss the arcades right?

    All of the above. lol
So I keep hearing people call Siegfried a Zone Character, yet he's so easy to space. By definition, Zoners are good at range. Contradiction?

Sieg's stances are kinda crap though. Post-3B guessing games are rarely ever in his favour. SBH is amazing for the aGI, I won't deny that. But SSH is useless, and SRSH gives a threatening mixup but if we wanna theory fight, you can punish the transition into SRSH on reaction and interrupt the 50/50. Reliance on stances will get you killed in some MUs and against people who know the MU.

I've had a couple matches with Sandman. He's definitely good. Our matches were pretty close but I still would say he's the better Sieg player.

As for Siegs Stances being crap, I would have to somewhat agree. Honestly the reliance on Siegs stances get him killed in almost all MUs more times than we'd like to admit. It's too easy to get in Siegs face when you know the MU, hence the reason I feel he's not that great of a Zoner.
It's getting harder to find the best opponents. I have to get really lucky to go negative in Player match. (or unlucky as some consider.)

Ah, now I remember. Thank you Alex. As for you Lockdown, have you been able to wire you're ps3 and open ports? I've told you how to do it before.

Well, there we go. I've got 2 people that I need to go toe to toe with. As soon as I get a new Power supply for my 360, I'd like a run back Alex.J. Lockdown, I'll see you the next time you happen to be on.
You can't be consistent in play style without falling into patterns, but you can't be random either because you'll look sloppy! Perplexing.

'good play' will consist in finding a way to balance those 2 opposing choices. I tend to side with random play myself, mostly because my 'play style' revolves around pure mind fuckery and getting in their heads. Besides, players who use the same 8 moves over and over is a bit boring to watch, play, and play against. We play games for fun, right? Keep things interesting. Avoid trendiness with playstyles.

    So true.
Today was not a day for the PSN players. Signal drops everywhere. You couldn't finish a match. XD

When will the poverty kids learn. Doesn't make sense to keep complaining about this when everyone knows xbl is better. Half the community is cheesy and cheap is the problem.

Some rough matches today. I really need keep away from trying too much experimenting at once. It cost me a lot of matches. XD

Is it just me or has a good chunk of the player base been improving drastically over the past month? Matches are getting intense!

I think people are just getting into streaming stuff again. Community has still hemorrhaged a lot of good people and those that have stuck around are getting more stream exposure again so it SEEMS like everyone has leveled up... I think it's just changing meta and a smaller, more devoted fan base as people continue to slowly trickle off.

I'm inclined to agree but what about the people that are still fairly new to SCV? Granted most are getting filtered out of the meta but there's a few that have drastically improved. Some of which I could swear were taking lessons from some of the well known Players.

However, the community does have so much media that can be used for research but nothing beats the hands on learning process. (Except maybe a combination of both research and hands on.) Well, with all the above being said, I guess I can't be too surprised.
Been called many things sense 2012. Hacker, Cheater, Scrub, Spammer, Noob, Sensei, Shark, Killer and Pro just to name a few! Thanks SCV
The time you have to throw your match up knowledge out the window is a priceless moment.

Do you do it every time you fight or does it take somebody of high Calibur to make you do so?

I don't really think of it that way. It's more autopilot then hitting the "Hmm. I need to start thinking" switch.
