As I said I agree with OneManjiArmy's analysis but it didn't felt complete to me .
Indeed, it is the best way to use it.
That's why I said it was unsafe. I guess I didn't made myself clear enough, it is a very dangerous move to use. Thankfully a lot of people still have the habit to JG it...
While I agree with you for the most part, I'd like to add some comments:
- 3AB BE in wall doesn't seem to me such a good idea as the damage it adds isn't worth the BE and there are better options that can do as much damage if not more. Moreover, following the angle (front) it makes aB+K and 6K...
Fair enough, I never thought about 4K and 66KBE's damage slipped out of my mind.
The fact that grabs can be broken was what I meant by "unreliable".
It may be irrelevent in an actual match but I'd take the +25 guaranteed damage 66KBE grants you anyday, as it is one less potential 22BBE/CE...
I'll just throw some ideas to answer you:
I won't contradict you on that. Yet a zoning move Just Guarded by Yoshi equals a 66A+B which is quite damaging. A risk to ponder.
Of course, it is one of Yoshimitsu's weaknesses, however I don't remember Asta's backdash to be very good. His poor...
It's been ages since I last posted here but my curiosity prevailed and I would like to hear your view on this match-up.
I fail to see why Asta would have the upper hand, although I admit, I lack practice against him in SCV.
Close quarter is clearly an uphill battle for Astaroth and the key may...
Well, thank you for the quick reply.
As you stated I'd like to book from friday to monday for now.
I'll wait until I get more info before paying one extra night. Of course I'll make sure to tell you if I do so as soon as possible.
Hello, I just payed my registration.
I'll be arriving and leaving at the same time (Thursday the 23rd and Tuesday the 28th). If I'm not mistaken, Hazu and COP DT7 also arrive on the 23rd. Dranakal however will be coming on Friday.
If no one is able to host us/me will it be possible to pay...
The tournament was great! Thanks to everyone, players and organizers. I'll give full props later.
Actually I didn't play in team France. The fifth team member was Nounours! and his Astaroth.
Maverick is right, use it as any other throw; and a harder one to break on top of that.
Ups, my bad, I didn't made myself clear. I just meant that 66B was very linear and shouldn't be overused like Kilik's evasive moves.
Mavericks already pointed it out but you have no idea how many players...
You'd want to add to your list:
-Delayed FotD (Mind game between 236 A and Fotd)
-Fotd from Full Crouch when your opponent is expecting a WS B
-iFotd after a sidestep (surprisingly efficient)
I also like throwing a iFotd after some A_B_K cancel or 44aB~G.
Anyway, you should take a look at some...
To add to what Belial said (good job btw):
Pool 1 - Hazu is a tough Astaroth. He was very impressive in a tournament in Italy where he won several FT5 against redihokuto and other italian players. Bobby is a new SC player but has been going to a lot of french tournaments.
Pool 2 - Freackysound...
@twiggy: Yeah, actually you can also do an iFotd with the normal inputs but I found the half-circle way mor comfortable for me to do.
@Kersijus: You're right, there can be some timing issues where you get either a normal throw or a 236A. It happens to me sometimes when i'm not very focused...
