yes it's gamefaqs, but it's detailed enough. Might not be that useful in the end. But it is a guide that isn't totally inane.
Hi.
My PSN tag is dogboy_tnb.
If anyone here leaves in southeast NC please say so. I don't live in RDU/greens.
I play nightmare traditionally, although he's kinda hard to use.
Apat looks sick.
"Patruckles" as a friend of mine calls Patrokalos is easy enough for me to use as he has very quick...
I don't quite understand clean hits either. They seem like a new feature. In Guilty Gear it's hitting the center of an opponent's hitbox by doing a move just right with Sol (usually Grand Viper or Sidewinder).
I'm guessing.. more frame advantage?
I read the guide I just have some issues with it.
BTW what's the difference between the JF aga and the "normal" one? Does one just literally break guard? That said I think I've done it.
I need help.
The guide for NM seems to be written for people who already know how to play. I'm honestly not looking for specifics, but I need a basic framework to go from. This NM is very different from the old SC2 NM that seemed to be easy for me to use (also since he had that bro-divorce with...
ok, so not too different from what I've been doing.
any ticks for them tharr throws?
edit: so yeah, mindgames don't really happen from normals in this. what about movements? like generally dashing in for a low and then hitting high. something like that.

I would suggest a rebirth of this thread because matchups are a huuuuuuuuuuuge part of fighting games.
unless you want me to copypasta it for you. I had to stop the site's loading before it got to the new version- aka the soulcal 5 hype...
I like this thread, there need to be more threads like these on F.G. sites. Too many times "character" threads devolve into "OMFG DMGING KAWMBOS" threads; or, in S.F. 4 "how scaled can I get my combo" video threads (pointless really, damage> number of hits). This would especially benefit Marvel...
So, I don't really get 3d fighters in the same manner as 2d. Like when I see a match, I don't always get what's going on, sometimes it just looks like random pressure- this is more of a tekken/vsav thing for me since this and Virtua Fighter aren't as fast. What should I be looking for? What are...
Here is my general philosophy on Nm:
Keep pushing forward. but at a decent distance most of the time.
He doesn't really need to be close in all the time because he has this Dhalsim-like range with that sword. Nm also does great damage, so if someone rushes me- or just l;eaves themselves open by...
