It's very possible we're fought before. I'm in all the online modes here and in Mortal Kombat. If not, feel free to send me a FR; judging by your PSN profile, we've got similar tastes in games (Resident Evil FTW).
 
I almost thought I wouldn't enter this one.
I had my own ideas, some great ones, like a futuristic knight, and I trashed those ideas.
But I just got on after about 3+ hours of making this masterpiece, and here she is, my entry.
Everyone, welcome Scathen, the Venomancer.

A Quick Video Displaying Her Design:
Now Mitsurugi is NOT her fighting style, her fighting style is Viola!
I used Mitsurugi's style for the video because I am great with him, so it was easy to record, but I have absolutely no idea how to use Viola.
Remember, she is NOT "Soul of Mitsurugi", the video is just showcasing her design.

Details About The Class And Other:
Her class is a derivation of the Mage.
There's many types of Mages as we know, from the White Mage, to the Necromancer, to the Sage, this is my very own Venomancer.
Like the Necromancer, the Venomancer uses his or her techniques from the Dark Arts, but instead of focusing on the power of the deceased, it focuses on poisons, life draining, and negative poisonous energies and auras.
Every type of Black Magic comes with a curse, and Scathen has already seen that curse as you can easily tell.
She was born Human, but her mastered abilities of Venomancy has given her a reptilian hybrid evolution.

Details About The Design: (Read this for awesome tips!)
This design was a complete pain to make.
I must have used almost twice as many secrets and tricks on Scathen than I have on any other character.

Her Mantle: I wanted something similar to the Wizard's Mantle, but if I did, it would have ruined her collar, so I used the bow, changed the size, turned it around enough, and what do you know, it worked well!

Her Collar and Tail-End: Easily said, the bat wings, but not easily done.
I wanted to make a villainous collar behind her neck, similar to classic villains like Maleficent, and I wanted that tail-end also to represent a hybrid mutation feel.
All in all, it worked out significantly.

Her Stockings: As you can see, I gave her purple stockings with black scrunchy garters on each leg.
This is a rather confusing one.
I made her basic skin color as purple, then put skin-color-looking-stickers on her face.
I then used the Nurse Boots.
I made the stocking part of the Nurse Boots the same color as the primary stockings, and then put stickers at the scrunchy end of the Nurse Boots to form garters out of them.

Creating Her Top: A complete pain to do!
I first used the Roccoco Top, then cut that down to size with the Belt which made it smaller, then used an undergarment that matched the shape of the now-trimmed-top.
I couldn't use that Witch's Dress (Or whatever it's called) because it showed the shoulders, so I had use those arm pieces to create the same long sleeved effect.
I then needed to turn the undergarment and the top to a scale pattern, and then add the square-ish-patch sticker on the breasts of the top to add a pleather effect.

This is by far one of the, if not THE best CaS I've ever done.
I am so proud, and happy with myself for creating what to myself, is a pure work of beauty and art.
I hope all of you take the time to read the long rant I put about her.
(I may delete the video eventually.)
 
Idoll, I may be crazy, but did we just fight a few hours ago, in ranked? I had a couple matches with a Mitsurugi character that looked like Scathen, using my submitted character. The name rings a lot of bells too. If so, that's just wild. :-)

Edit: Just saw your video, that's me, completely embarrassing myself. Rock on.

I just looked back at your post and yes, we fought, twice.
You totally pissed me off with all those throws, dood.
But this thread isn't for competitive battles, so I will just internet hug you instead. :3
 
Aww I was in Ranked and didn't see either of you... Which is probably good considering I play a mean ass Astaroth that tends to piss off a LOT of people. x]

I'm regretting looking forward to drawing a close on possibly the best contest yet! After I would ask that everyone look at the thread I will be creating for a follow up surprise that any RPG fan is sure to love!

No need to take it down, you rightly punished me and deserve to show off. :-) (That round does make me cringe though; I think it was a combination of bad range predictions and forgetting how to use Xiba. Oh well.) I just think it's crazy that our characters met on the battlefield. Very fitting, they should be rivals or something.
