What you LIKE about SCV.

I like most everything about this game.

Maxi deals more damage as is not bottom tier.
Graphics, Sounds and visuals are simply stunning
Record feature for matches and ability to upload direct to youtube
Global Colossus. I like the idea of lots of people interacting with each other
Maxi is still in the game
The intuitive use of unique fighting styles (Viola, Zwei etc)
Meter managment system
Online netcode is awesome

I could go on and on. Of course there are but a very SMALL few things I would like, but Im overall happy with this game. A huge step above SC4, and a step in the right direction if you ask me. It is impossible to please everyone all the time. So no matter what happens with future installments people will not like it. Thats just nature. But I for one am a SC fan. Im not a SC4 fan, Im not a soul blade fan, Im a fan of the entire series and it would be a great pleasure to purchase all that Namco puts out for me.

I like the offensive, fast pace gameplay, meter management, and overall balance the most. There's so much that I like that it'd actually be easier to say what I don't like.

1) the "new-ness" (refreshed/ refined movelists) of the characters
2) training mode
3) meter
4) Jg-ing

What I like about SCV is the fast action-packed gameplay. SCIV was nice but it still felt awkward to play at times seeing how the gameplay felt slower (in my opinion). SCV felt like I was playing SC3/2 with the fast motion again.
I also like the CAS. True there could have been more items but for what they presented, it's a decentish amount that can let you make practically anything.
Also, while she is not the most liked character, I don't care, I enjoy Viola. She is very fun to play as. Also enjoy Zwei as well.

Those are the two big things that keep me coming back to play the game even though I don't play it as much as I did when the game came out last year. I haven't touched the game in months. However, I do await SCVI, I really hope there is one.

1) The Brave and Critical Edge System
2) Just guards and the new guard impact system!!
3) Patroklos

Movement, animations, character cast, fantasy theme and weapons.
Other notable things are the character customization which adds a nice touch, as well as the fact that the game is pretty easy to just pick up and play which means that even your beginner friends are able to enjoy it and feel like they know what they're doing, unlike in games like Street Fighter where you won't even be able to throw a hadouken if you're new.

-Clean cut combat, graphics, animation, and lighting.
-CAS is also an improvement over SC4's.
-JUSTICE.
- Increased pacing. SC4's felt slow at times.
- Meter Management...BE, CE...

I love the characters (even the mimics although I wish we had one)
I love the online, its always fun, sure there's always a troll or two but thats small potatoes.
I love CaS I have minor complaints about it but overall its amazing.

The game itself is amazing, it has its flaws, but its nothing that gets in the way.

  • Improved character creation (which lets you to create a crossdressing fighter or femininely gay fighter)
  • Fresh character roster (good thing PS has removed other characters from previous Soul games and not simply added new characters; or else the roster would have been look like updated version of SCIV or SC:BD)
  • Multi-tier stages
  • Improved online source code

I like just about what everybody says more or less. One appealing thing is the menu theme (look, appearance) and the stages theme. I know people will complain about characters and such, even if I have some minor issues as well, but the graphic department of the game is just sweet here. The evolution of the game's looks always improves game to game.

I find a lot of intrigue with the Alexandra character stories. Both characters are my potential favourites its just the story told over them was just handled so poorly. I like Omega Pyrhha. (over whiny cuche-to-your-face Pyrhha) and the one-man-justice-league Patroklos. The new nightmare is a very fresh and very mysterious incarnation. Though the and the background designs are the only thing I liked about SC5 overall. I hated almost the rest of the entire cast except for Aeon and Asteroth (p1). I like Viola's design and even got used to the look of Zwei... I love the CAS overhaul and the graphical rendering. I like the gameplay speed and the Music of all things but the only way I can positively recommend what I enjoyed was ironically through nitpicking out the good over the bad.
