Xianghua isn't fine, she's overpowered by getting 100+ DMG combos making ALL Horizontal & Vertical Attacks not matter with her aGI Lethal Hits. I would love to main Groh when the game comes out, but I MUST get Xianghua nerfed to make SCVI a better game.
 
Stronghua makes sense actually since it’s pretty obvious she has Soul Calibur this time. Is she using Krita-Yuga? I just still wonder why she has water when Siegfried and Patroklos get ice. I’m assuming it’s because of Soul Embrace...

Sorry for the sudden story discussion, but even so a little girl with a tiny sword that’s basically as deadly as an atomic bomb seems like something that needs to be fixed.

Why exactly are people calling for nerfs when we've only seen half the cast and exactly zero people have had the chance to lab in training mode? We have absolutely no idea what competitive SC6 will look like. Y'all need to chill.

I still don't think that the supposed Maxi sexuality thing is necessary since it feels to me more that Voldo fits that quota, but let's save the controversial stuff for the right topic. We don't need another News/Leaks topic fiasco.

Because Voldo isn't exactly the most expressively sexual character.

He's a guardian, or a slave more so. Just Namco has to always design him differently because they can't give him the same outfit every game.

No but I think that saying he’s a good fit for the gay quota is a) bad because of the implications of having quota and b) a blind deaf 67 year old man who is a slave, submissive to his master and only dresses in bondage is perpetuating and using a stereotype to be “representative” of a whole community.

So no, voldo is not a bad gay, I just have a hard time identifying with him. Am I saying that it is imperative for Soul Calibur to have more lgbt characters? No, but don’t use one character as a reason to justify not having more characters who happen to be gay (like possibly Maxi)
 
Whether Voldo’s sexuality is gay is debatable. Though I will say he is honestly one of the most unique characters Namco has brought to the series.
