Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

There's a lot of discussion on twitter whether the collector's edition includes a season pass

It's going to be disappointing if it doesn't. Apparently, the season pass is confirmed for the European collector's edition.

You can get a figpin if you preorder at gamestop

No SP in America. Neither Tekken 7 nor DBFZ had one in the CE. This is not abnormal for Bamco.
I don’t know how they got away with this. It’s a blatant copy and even some moves were a copy. I still like Viola better.
Holy shit is SC your first fighting game? Like 80% of most fg characters steal concepts from SF. And SF took concepts from real life and manga.

By that metric, Bamco should get in trouble for Mitsurugi stealing ideas from SNK.

Wasn't T7 touted as having 50 customizable pieces and it was just gold and silver attire for everyone? Haha. Hopefully this means 100 pieces unique to the character they can be equipped for.

T7 season pass was described as 100 costumes at first, then they changed in description to 50 customize stuffs. Then it ended being 5 costumes shared by the entire cast. (Bikinis, Fundoshis, Idolmaster, and School girls costumes)

Don't forget that half of those 100 parts are going to come from the new characters having their default parts, unless that changed (which would be a downgrade)

The young Siegfried scene in the story trailer makes it look like parts of default might be back. Plus repeating parts a character can’t work with CaS as a thing.

I dunno if it's lost in translation or what, but the term" customization" over "creation" caught my attention, hopefully I'm just nitpicking :D

But more than 100 pieces is awesome! Way to beat the two poor and ugly armor sets from V ^^

Do you guys ever feel like stances are kind of a weakness? They are fun and make characters feel unique.

However experienced players will learn if a character has 2, or 6 moves that can be done a stance and learn to punish them.

Still I like stances as a concept.

No. What makes stances weak is the same thing that makes any move weak and that's making them useless or underwhelming. An example of this would be making the requirements of the stances too strict to achieve and the attacks not worth the risk. Lei Wulong is a good example of this with very specialized setups making his moves useful once in a blue moon.

I may have gotten a new Razer Panthera stick for real cheap or may be out money and ready to attack Amazon. Wish me luck.

Subscribe to the newegg.com newsletter. Many times throughout the year they have sales on arcade sticks. Just this year they have had like two or three times a sale on the Mad Catz TES+ (the black and hold shadaloo skull) and quanba for $99 shipped. I own the Mad Catz onr, it's a very good stick.
I have read that the Panthera sticks suffer from disconnects.

I’m sure creation is in. It would be really stupid to take that out and besides there’s a part where Sophitia fights Rothion in the story, and I don’t think he’s going to be a playable character full-fledged.
