Wow I've been gone forever. Like four years gone. I'll just copy paste my old thread intro and make the appropriate edits.
What is on this thread
  • CaS from scvi
  • Cliche color combination. If done right even these color schemes look pretty good. (I'm not going to pretend that I think I can get it right.)
  • Purple and Red. While not my favorite color per say, they are some of my favorite to use on Cas
  • Lots of Women and yummy buff dudes.
  • bad, inappropriate, and self-deprecating jokes.
  • The raging dumpster fires that are my CaS :P
What is NOT in this thread
  • Characters from other series. There are plenty of more talented people than me who can do that. Personally, I find recreations rather restricting.
  • Minimal effort to make things "nationality/culture-based". My view is if it happens it happens.
  • Quality CaS
Now that I have defended myself, I am now open to your criticism. (At least for now....... Bwah ha ha... you get the picture.)

One more thing, If you see something you like just ask for it. If you want to steal it and try to recreate it then go for it. I only request you send me a picture so I can look at it. So I can be secretly jealous of your improvements and maybe steal it back. But be careful I bite.

1P Heiling is my favorite. Is he supposed to be the main villain?

I prefer Liriadis’s alt.

Are they part of a personal project of some kind? I’m quite curious.

Yep he's the villain. Well all the characters have a story within the world of soulcalibur which is currently still in the works so no bios yet. Thanks for taking the time to look at them!

PS: Liriadis' alt was actually designed first it just sits after the other one in the file slots so it became the 2p.
 
Do ever find yourself looking a nice pair of muscly arms thinking; "I wish they would choke hold me?" That was the initial inspiration for the first one and then you know things like backstory came later. The other one well he's buff? Here they are and also on the master post

Whoah, you're selling yourself short in your introduction! Your characters all have nicely distinct archetypes, and you executed the color palettes perfectly! Love the bright vibrant colors, I don't see enough of that round here. My faves are Diana and Heilang. I really dig Diana's Snow White vibe, and that sideways eye on Heilang's 2P is GENIUS! Looking forward to more!

Thank you for taking the time to look at my CaS! I really love bright colors, but I'm always worried about them being too bright. Eye'm glad you liked Heilang. Diana is one of my personal favorites so I'm glad you liked her too.
 
This one intentionally has no name but Seer is what he's referred to as. He feels a bit simple, but I'm relatively pleased with the way he turned out.

Seer looks awesome. The third eye bandage is really cool, and I like his glowing/blind(?) eyes underneath! Nice job with the vest sticker.

You say you're afraid of bright colors. I say keep using them, the way you mix them with patterns, gear etc. makes your designs look subtle yet elegant :) My favorites are 2P Liriadis, Liirion and 2P Leo. Here are my thoughts:
Liriadis: The turquoise color scheme with the blossom stickers and Mi-na's flower skirt leads to a simple and beautiful creation, all those elements fit well with this CaS.
Liirion: Is he and Liria siblings? If so, 'tis a cool concept, seeing as they have some similarities. He reminds me of anime smart-glasses folks haha!
Leo: I love this guy. For a "generic", i'm very fond of his design and gold/blue color palette, i also really dig the little emblem on his scarf, adds a nice touch.

You're doing a good job trying to make your characters fit into the SC world. Think i shall start following you and this thread, looking forward to more! :D

Thank you for taking time to look at my CaS and leaving a detailed review! You've discovered liria and liriion's secret! Now you can never leaveI'm happy to hear that you like Leo's simplicity.
 
I was dabbling with Liriadis' 1p taking some cues blatantly copying the color scheme from Liriion's 1p and I ended up with this I really like it more, but I'm not sure if it feels distinct enough from her 2p.
