Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

I'm hoping they at least reveal the Season 2 characters every couple months or something. It'll be hell if they give us no information until 2020

There was, the Dengeki stream, in Japanese. There wasn’t much of anything new, especially if you’ve already read Kayane’s recent interview from EVO. They talked about EVO and were celebrating its success, they revisited the Cassandra and season two trailers, talked a bit about Haohmaru, confirmed he’s getting a stage and at least one more stage, along with stage variants like was seen in the trailer, each character except Inferno will be getting at least two new moves, going for a broader appeal, that season two won’t make original or season 1 characters obsolete or anything, online may receive more improvements, and they also talked about Yuttoto fighting Shining Decopon at some point in the future, no date given, to celebrate EVO 2019 and EVO 2012 champions.

Raphael looks so good doing his old idle, I seriously can't believe they took that away from him.
It adds so much character to him and it looks far better than his stiff idle.
I hope going forward they bring back some some of the idles. I even miss Amy's.

Thankfully Cassandra was spared this fate.
It would have been worst for her to loose it I think.

That being said, I'm always waiting for the idles to return.
 
Does anyone know how YouTube search results bring up videos? Because I typed in Viola dlc and the first result was the Cassandra dlc video but from the PlayStation YouTube account.

I’m assuming if people in the comments mention a character enough it will put the video on the search term?

Having Violas name bring up an official video related to soulcalibur 6 dlc is a bit scary though...
 
Yeah Youtube stopped being about creators ages ago, it's getting more and more difficult to find specific stuff because Google keeps on messing with it's algorithm. In fact it's so bad that results from a browser search engine gives better Yotube video results than using Youtube's search bar.

During any of the incoming Asia league tournaments maybe?

I think maybe Hao Maru reveal will hit during Evo Japan. Means by Evo Japan season 2 would have launched already and with its first character

First DLC character maybe?

If it this year, i feel like the only places we get info on s2 is either the end of the asia league thingy, or on October if they're planning a 1 year anniversary event like a livestream or something.

If we don't get anything at all this year then yea, gotta wait until January.
 
The problem with Raphael's old idle is that he basically does forward/back steps without player's input, also they are most probably just cosmetic and don't actually affect hitboxes (correct me if I'm wrong here), yet still from a practical perspective this behaviour is hightly confusing not in a good way.
Cassandra's idle is allowed, because she simply jumps up and down a little without actually walking anywhere.
 
Apparently, Cassandra sits on her shield while doing the attacks that involves her jumping on her foe. Make of that what you want.

Normally i would hesitate a lot between those "who's best? New or Old", because sometime nostalgia feeling can get on you on those kind of things, but here there is no doubt for me that the old one is much better and way more fitting for Raphael. And it's really not just about Nostalgia at all.
